hello...y i don see any improvement in void.ROM ler..still lag playin angry birds season and the gingerbread keyboard..kinda lag as well..sigh my phone prob or wat
dun expect it to be smooth like iphone, O1 is just running on a 600MHz chipset. it is however much responsive compared to stock roms.
though i noticed the lagness in the keyboard too after using void for a week or so. not sure if it's due to the apps i installed or not. but i find myself constantly need to use Fast Reboot app to restart all the applications like once every half an hour or so because my phone will lag and hang after some time of idling. the app that crashes is usually zeam. after removing CircleLauncher lite widget from my homescreen, it doesn't lag that much. probably too many widgets on my homescreen

Try creating the kernel module in the setting.
Anyway, Void#echo is out

mushy, need to ask u, to upgrade void.delta to void.echo, do i have to go through all the steps from step 1, step 5 or step 10?
i want all my settings, widgets, contacts and messages to be intact when flashing to void.echo. need your advice on this.

##System Recovery and Flashing##
1. Load Terminal Emulator on phone.
2. Type "su" (without quotes) and press enter, the $ should now become #.
3. Type exactly what is in the spoiler, down right to capital letters and spacing. Line by line (rotate your phone horizontally for easy view).
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
cat /sdcard/flash_image > /system/bin/flash_image
chmod 755 /system/bin/flash_image
mv /system/etc/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak
mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img
reboot recovery
*an error will appear when you register the 4th line, it's OK so leave it be.
4. Switch off the phone after completion. Now, reboot into recovery mode by pressing and holding power button, volume down button and home button. Use volume button as up and down keys, menu button as Enter/Yes.
5. Run Nand Backup External
6. Run Partition SD card. You must do each menu available step by step (the last step would be ext3 to ext4).
7. Run Wipe All, then reboot.
8. Connect the USB to your phone, transfer the .void ROM (zipfile) to SD root. Disconnect the USB cable, and reboot.
9. Boot into System Recovery again (power, low volume and home button).
10. Select Flash menu, choose the .void ROM, and initiate flashing.
11. Reboot, and this time it will take a while (around 5 minutes for first boot).
12. Should be running on .voiD (or any custom ROM) by now.
