MSRP USD 1199 is for body only, which is a little less than MYR 4k.
Kit set is announced at MSRP USD1499, about MYR 4.8k. I cant decide for now since there is no noise performance review yet. One thing i like is the compatibility to meter with non-CPU lenses |

The D7000 provides a virtual horizon type electronic spirit level - it can help much on composition

QUOTE(maggi @ Sep 15 2010, 09:21 PM) some is inner change, some is external changecertain change different from d90 a lot, certain does not matters much... it all depends what u want from the camera, and how much does it matters... e.g. some ppl don like too many focus point (they want simple point, they easily choose the point themselves), so the matter of 11focus points & 39focus points makes no difference... D7000 can go with Ai lenses, makes it more legacy-compatible than D90 (if u already hav or u will get old lens) jz see from dpreview, check out those highlights...then see if those extras really matters for u.... btw...CMOS sensor is newer (although size same and cramp in more pixel), new processor (Expeed 2) that provides stronger heart than d90 yet...the most matters is the user, not the tool |

having more focus points is always the better option as you can change the settings to maybe 9 or 11 focus points if you want.

This thing is between D90 and D300s and with the recent price drop of D300s to RM4350, i guess D7000 will be priced around 3.4k-3.7k body only.
