From the pixel peeper comparison of Dpreview, y the Canon 60D seems to have better noise control than the D7000? Even the D300s is bettter? haaizz.... hmm.gif  or this kinda review is not accurate

Nice, didn't know got such link already biggrin.gif.

Somehow I was comparing between the D7000 and D3. D7000's performance is acceptable for me when compared to D3 biggrin.gif. DX versus FX.

Really sucks ler..... it disappoint me so much if it's really accurate test!! Haaiz.... I thought the newer sensor with much better iso control is the point for me to get the D7000 over the D300s, but seem really disappointing!!

Told ya before. D3100 / D7000 might be the "white rat" for the new sensor.
Get D300s la. Semi pro body.

Funny how some review shows great pictures while there are others that are, as said, muddy even at ISO3200. Is it a batch problem or the reviews should not be trusted at all?

Ya worr..... my mind was telling me don't believe these reviews.... as D7000 should out performs all, somewhere FX level of noise control.

I rmb I saw photos taken D3100 new sensor was superbly sharp at even iso1600, so I think D7000 would b a beast =.=

It's actually depends on lens also. I mount 200mm f/2 on D3100 but mount 18-55 on D7000. which one you think will better ?

D7000 somewhere FX level ? next life la mate. Comparing FX and DX is like comparing Inspira with Ferrari. Inspira to win the race ? Next life tongue.gif

What about review from JAPAN themselves, with all ISO range sample and different Noise Control?

Maybe lighting affect it more? The japan site sample taken outdoor, while the SG one is indoor right?

I think personal hands on is the best review.
Personally, I find the D7000 sample picture too bright, the colour is bright; D300S seems better in this aspect, close to FX quality reproduction.

KLPF unit might not be end product. It might be pre-production unit whereby the firmware is not the final yet. I used to see a few Canon pre-production firmware unit too wink.gif

And to be ISo 3200 outdoor noise clear is not important as I seldom shoot outdoor with ISO 3200. Indoor noise is visible and muddy is not acceptable at all (referring to SG photos)
