it's a really good move if they segregate all Symbians into 1 Symbian...this way less confusion and easier development for developer...good job Nokia or perhaps good job Symbian Foundation rclxms.gif

right now symbian had it's hopes on N8, many games and apps produced right now, so i think symbian will move on if S3 is still valuable..
only i don't like the absent of self-equalizer.. sh*t!!
*
Nokia is going all out on Symbian^3 at the moment...but it seems many review are still not on the upside towards Symbian^3
It's just a makeover of Symbian^1 and blah blah blah...

The overall stability & touchscreen experience of symbian has been enhanced on this phone. But few things such as browser still remains as thorn in this OS.But according to Nokia, there will be new browser for symbian^3.
It's a good thing they keep on bringing improvement for the OS.
*
hope all the improvements come fast...

I only use Nokia because of their free GPS maps. User-Interface wise, wonder when will they switch to Android or even produce partial of Android devices for us users blink.gif
*
They will never produce Android phones smile.gif
you don't have to hope for that...

Forget about it.
MeeGo is Nokia's answer for iOS & Android.
They want a "in house" OS so they can have control over the OS.
*
+1
I said soo many times...but still many people hope Nokia produce Android phones blah blah blah shakehead.gif

E7 coming soon. let's hope nokia come to their senses and provide auto focus lens!
*
The specs are confirmed so there's no chance E7 is getting Auto-focus.
Plus 10th Dec is the shipping date. No more hardware rectification.
Hence it's fixed focus (EDOP) for Nokia E7.

E7 is definitely one of the well designed phone by Nokia...

hahah...Nokia is skilled at playing mind-tricks laugh.gif
but we will be waiting for this device...Eager to see the 4-inch display running on Symbian^3 and hopefully the FW is properly tweaked.

nHD in N8 not pixelete enough but put into a 4" device ah?  laugh.gif laugh.gif
*
Let's just wait and judge by the real product. N8 screen pixelation on dark images might be due to hardware issue. You know very well there's no pixelation on N97 though it's nHD and 3.5-inch too smile.gif

Maybe..I feel it's a slight waste to put nHD display with such a wonderful screen...

Let's wait for N9 then smile.gif

this phone is fixed focus? so sad that they downgraded the camera performance

hahah. Downgrading? It's a little bit of upgrade too if you compare to its believed "predecessor" Communicator E90 which only has 3.2mpx camera.

agree wt u. only iphone can command such high prices and maybe galaxy s.
*
ahahah. Only iphone can fetch such high price? for the antennagate,I'm sure you're glad to pay 2.6k. doh.gif
C'mon. Apple iphone price is high due to the cool factor in normal sense.

But in a business sense, my personal opinion is because Apple only manufacture 1 phone at a time namely iPhone.
Hence, all the demand is focus onto 1 model.
And as demand increases the price increases. It's demand & supply. Unlike other phone manufacturer, they have a wide range and variety of devices targeting at different group of users hence the demand for phones from that brand does not focus solely on 1 model hence the demand is splitted over a number of devices. As demand is lower, price decreases too.

Galaxy S is at least feasible for the price because of the hardwares unlike iphone.
E7 for 2.1k might be good or a little over cause proc is still at A11 not even Cortex yet but 4-inch display is totally awesome rclxms.gif

yeap I know. but That person said only iPhone deserve the price tag I was like "What is he talking about" As you can see I said Galaxy S is worth the money as well unlike iPhone which is a total takeover of the consumer's mindset.Due to the cool factor and stuff. argh said that in previous post. biggrin.gif

Most people who purchase this phone because it's a business-series phone won't mind about the EDOP lens.
