nah AP will be sky high price until original set hits malaysia

for me its important.usually not use to record,but to see in dark places since hp is always with us unlike videocam.N8 main selling point is not the size so increasing a few mm to add LED and lens cover might not decrease the sales

RM 2499 is EXTREMELY high for N8. If the price proven to be true, I say bye bye to this thread.

Don't think it's easy to run any other OS in this device.

Seems like Nokia will to OMAP processors for high end device.

The reason why NITDroid succeed is because the way the OS & hardware was integrated.N900 didn't exactly use the conventional method of updating OS.It relies on manual flashing to update/restore original state.NITDroid takes advantage of this full access to eMMC + MicroSD to overwrite/multiboot.
Also it seem that Nokia's GSM module is different than most of phone running Android(HTC,Samsung & Mototrola).This is why N900's port still ongoing.For now you can call & receive sms but cannot reply yet.But these problem should be solved is near time.

Waa.. 2k for that average spec and extra camera..

really make up my mind for froyo 2.2 devide ad..

i doubt tat la.. Malaysia no pre-order? Usually most nokia phones after they out in other region first about 3 weeks to 1month only available in malaysia. Even now china pre-order di so without an official launch date i dont think so
