uh ... saying youtube campaign missions is the same as playing them, is like saying watching a war movie is the same as enlisting into the army and serving active duty.

i actually get that problem occasionally too where i'll be unable to download maps, can't create custom games, can't do anything. basically i'll reset my entire internet connection (to get a new streamyx ip cos different gateways perform differently), restart pc, etc, and it works.

[edit] dunno if it's the cause, but also make sure that your windows firewall is unblocked for sc2.

nono when i mean reset, just reconnect i.e. turn your router/modem off and on.

streamyx is very "hebat" as in, certain 'gateways' are better than others. and some 'gateways' are crap. and resetting it you might get a better gateway that has a good/decent connection to the bnet server in singapore.

Haha. I am having the same problem too.
Wish there's a service to provide a tunnel to the Blizzard server in singapore. tongue.gif

It is most probably due to the gateway you're using. My friend tried reconnecting until he got the 115.135 ip address. That was the only way he could download any custom games.

download the cache file from them, and paste it to your sc2 cache folder.

Just wanna ask some question before proceed troubleshoot.

1. just would to clarify is there any port forward have be done?
2. did sc2 has been allow or bypass for the firewall settings(either the modem or the windows)?
3. after you uninstall did u delete all the remaining files for you sc2. its might be the cache files remain. pls seek out and try delete it whistling.gif

for yr reference:-

just an example, please check yr specific modem that you use and try do tat.

hope this will help a bit

Yes there are certain ports you can forward for Battle.net. Just google those ports up as I can't remember them from the top of my head.

Here's the ports to forward if you're looking for em.

I have already done that as well.
Tested with shutting down all the firewall and anti-virus programs.
It is still the same. Not sure what's wrong.

Just haven't reinstalled the game yet.
Might try that when I'm really desperate to play custom games. tongue.gif
