mine already swim with some fishes, happily sitting in the pocket during heavy rain and fell from 1 meter high for few times. oh and it has been in few glasses of water too.

i use the car MP3 emulator that come with usb port to charge ... but sometimes keep on detect and re detect

haven't try the direct car charger .. not buy any yet

With Motoblur it is laggy, change it to Launcher Pro and things get smoother.

both singapore and malaysia set dont have motoblur so it should be snappy enough.

that froyo is not fully complete yet. so far i'm satisfied with 2.1. i already can do wifi tethering (3g mobile hotspot) with it.

issit laggy to the extend it spoils your overall experience with the phone?

just run the 3g mobile hotspot app and you're good to go. can share your data connection with 5 wifi devices.
