Hey guys, planning to get a Defy in a month's time after january . Anything i should look out for?

Now using an E8 after my E2, then now wanna get the Defy since it seems to be able to survive my beating and occasional rain while riding

you're using the defy now? Isnt the earpiece covered by warranty?

i miss my E2 weyh, can play GBA games nicely with the extra side buttons now the battery is dead

Hey guys, i'm currently loaning my friend's defy just to test it out before i buy it

the multitouch keyboard is super awesome and the predictive text is damn accurate man!

I noticed something though, i can't seem to find a lanyard hole anywhere on the phone

Just gave back the phone to my friend. Damn i miss that phone now!

Yeap the keyboard is nice. The 3.7" screen size is just nice for landscape qwerty keyboard. In portrait format i'd prefer to use swype though. So much more convenient to type 1 hand with Swype xD

and usually i connect some lanyard accessory to make pulling the phone out of my jeans easier

Froyo is already available as an unofficial build if not mistaken. And motorola said Froyo will be available in Q2 2011 lol.

Screen protector? Why'd you need that for? I tried stabbing and scratching the screen with a key, no problemo

Actually, Malaysian Defy doesn't have Blur inside. Thats why theres no 'Blur' word on the back cover like in those you see on review sites lol.
