Hi, I have already full of fire with my current antivirus KIS 2010. When it detected other program that like virus, (it is not virus) it auto restart my PC without warning. I very hate this, not that all, the first time I run the update, the update file size about 60++ MB, already updated 2 hours still haven't done...

So I planning to use another antivirus, - Avira. Is it ok? I heard my friend said it quite good... I am also using now, the free version. If good, next year I will change to premium version...

Previously i was using Kaspersky too, it was good during the past.

But recently, the antivirus fail to protect my laptop which caused it get infected by virus.

Then i switched to Avira internet security, it serve me well from the day i bought it till today.

Not to deny, they do have a very low memory consumption which will not slow down my laptop. Therefore, i guess you may give it a try.

Hard to fight 0-day malwares unless you sandbox your system.

It's no harm to try on Avira or any other products you like. The difference of paid and free version of a same product is just the extra functions. There's no such thing that paid version has better detection rate than free one. They are using the same engine and definition for antivirus program. smile.gif

Actually, both Avira and NOD32 has almost the same level of detection of new unknown malwares.

Overall, NOD32 managed to get relatively good performance and detection rate.
