There is a full discussion of Papago here ; I believe you can use malfreemaps but I have yet to try. There are links in this post to the downloads

BTW what windows and android roms are you using ?

Is there any voice enabled GPS software for the Android? My favorite is Tomtoms, but they don't have it on the Android.

Added on September 14, 2010, 9:32 pmTwo interesting rom updates today :

Bangster v1.3 ( non Sense) and Mdeejay v2.0 Sense

I have been testing Mdeejay v1.5 for about a day already and I'd say is the smoothest and best sense UI I have seen. There is virtually no screen freeze at all the whole day I was testing it. Was just going to test Papago X5 on it but just noted developer just posted ver 2. Well now downloading as I write this

I downloaded Mdeejay v1.5 yesterday but was still trying Bangster. I should try this v2.0.

Which version you download ? Try the PPP version first. The RMNET version more for those without 3G

For 3G you have to set the APN manually : Settings/Wireless Network/Mobile networks /APN , press the start menu button to add APN

I don't know whether this will work . Add this in your startup.txt

set cmdline "rel_path=Android data_size=1024 lcd_res=240"

The rom cook didn't have any option for you to change ? I have yet to readup and try his rom

You can set Favorites if you are using htc Sense UI.
