Initially, I wanted to skip WM6.5 and straight to Android. After testing out some Android roms on HD2, there are issues that stops it being my daily phone. Some issues are already work in progress. Regardlessly, I'll let the chefs do their stuff and meanwhile explore what WM6.5 has to offer.
HD2's ability to boot Android gives me a lot of optimism. For now though, my SIM cards goes back to my HTC Legend.
I tried his bangsters_V1.2a CM6 FRG33 and I can't believe the flawless scrolling I'm getting. This build hands down, is better than the other 5 roms I tried. I'll see how the battery goes but I'm loving whatever I'm touching now.
I got 2GB of ROM memory and I gave an . I wonder does it really improves performance like a real 2GB internal ROM does?
This ROM is really good. The winner for me was the idle battery drain. The idle battery drain is only highs of 30-40mA and lows of 10-8mA stock. Compared to Bangster's drain of 65-70mA. Bangster took 25% of my battery when I was sleeping. This one will be significantly less.
I tried both 2.0 and 2.1 ROM. It's a lot of improvement from 2.0.

still downloading the rom... quite slow... must be lot of users downloading..btw, which sofware u use to determine the battery usage which shows the mA?
maybe ramen can post up the system.ext2 from his download. it will save me from downloading the whole thing again.
--------------------- On set cpu, it's better for you to get a baseline mark for your battery for a day or two first before changing the settings. For me, I don't consider of upping the speed as there's no lag in my video and I don't play 3d games on the phone.

The next exciting ROM will be the HTC Desire HD rom, currently work in progress. HTC Desire HD is the much anticipated version HTC Evo Sprint 4G. Evo Sprint is
DarkStone is doing the ROM now and he posted a video of the Desire HD rom. The good parts starts after 2:30 mark.
set cmdline "rel_path=Android data_size=2048 lcd_res=180 conn_type=ppp kernel_type=axi gps_zone=us"
If Malaysia so we set (axi gps_zone=my) is that correct.... thank
yes. that's correct.
remember that you'll need to run a script for wifi connection for theis PPP build

On Darkstone's Desire HD rom, I am trying it and the new HTC Sense is a joy to use. I haven't run into the G-sensor problem yet so the Desire HD rom should be the definitive rom for me.
I will revert back to mjeeday 2.1 until Desire HD is fully ready, it should end my frequent following in xda HD2 Android roms.
you tried the htcsense.com and htc hub? doesn't appear to be working yet. probably on official release of the devices.
HTCsense.com doesn't allow me to authenticate with their server. I guess we have to wait until Desire HD is official sold in Malaysia first. The new Latitude also doesn't work, maybe for the same reason.
Good news to all is Live Wallpaper can be on 24/7 now. The idle is either 60mA or 10mA (mostly less than 10mA) so you guys go ahead and show off your HD2 glorious Live Wallpaper.
