great ICS report andy,
Iv test the MIUI SGS2 theme you mention, its very convincing when the boot animation also shows Galaxy S animation, thanks for the head up

miraclejustin
What rom version have u put there ? isit sense or non Sense rom? the built in memory HD2 is 512mb rom, used Cynogen or MIUI rom which consume less than 200MB of your internal rom.

back from holidays & happy 2012 as well

use the rom suggested by andyjyneo, u must setup 200mb partition for NDT MIUI rom, by theory u should have more than 250mb+ Nand remain

Anyway, I just spotted tytung released ICS CM9 ROM.
Check it out, guys. I don't know what's the difference between CM9 and AOSP ROM.
*
Different ? CM9 is non AOSP ... thats all i know tongue.gif , finally they drop the 'Camera problem', whats left is native USB and VPN thingie thumbup.gif .

QUOTE(miraclejustin @ Jan 9 2012, 10:53 PM)
btw, I felt the MIUI camera a little shady compare to my previous desire froyo with sense rom. Gatta try more rom to tell the difference. What are you guys thought on "HyperDroid-CM7" rom? what are the advantages and limitations?
*
Shady eh? MIUI has the best quality camera, the video recording alot stable framerate. Compare to Cynogen rom, MIUI has better cosmetics and theme pack too smile.gif

QUOTE(neato4u @ Jan 10 2012, 01:33 AM)
Hahaha.. yeah andy is a flashaholic. I bet he have a couple of GB dedicated just for HD2 ROMs on his PC  brows.gif
Ah Hyperdroid.. I just love em. I used to have the old Hyperdroid version and it works great. Why I prefer Hyperdroid because it's fast, comes with the dpi tweak (everything is smaller and I feel like using a tablet), battery life is great, and games runs smooth on it - plus the UI seemed smoother than some other ROMs.

I changed ROM quite often before, but then I kept coming back to Hyperdroid because of it's stablility and battery life  nod.gif

But that is of course my own personal experience  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Hyperdroid rom is faster has nice DPI, sorta tablet experience thumbup.gif , but now I change to Copewarren Americandroid, its quite similar but got the SD MAGLDR version,

I think u should able to find GAPPS (aka google apps) in xda rom release post, by default most Cynogen rom not comewith Google apps, or just follow Andyneo advise with Market Enabled. smile.gif

Iv been 2 weeks not flashing anything, tempted to flashed Munjeni's CWM Recovery Touch beta
user posted image

btw andy,
have u test Xylograph - Ice Cream Tosti, its a high DPI/ resolution ICS rom ? looks delicious drool.gif

QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Jan 26 2012, 04:20 AM)
I flashed to michie's ICS. Looks good and A2SD is supported, but common bug (gallery and menu opening lag) makes me u-turn and reflash back to my 2.3.7 MIUI.
However, ICS ROM is stable enough for daily use.

I'm going to buy another 2nd hand HD2 for my GF as Valentine's Day gift.
Going to flash to MIUI for her also. rclxm9.gif  rclxms.gif

Last 2011 report state Winmo market holder still >50% than WP , Winmo OS kinda primitive but honestly very lotsa usefull function base on my 5 years winmo experience & Symbian hmm.gif

Android on Lumia ? KENG lor, sounds exciting but my prediction it wont happened .... U can have Lumia experience alike by installing WP7.5 rom then Chevron'it with Nokia WP7 Apps ... would go WP andy ? tongue.gif laugh.gif

QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Jan 31 2012, 06:28 PM)
Haha, sorry to tell you that WinMO might not be that advance and modern.
See how it lags behind Android and iOS & what direction Nokia is taking by teaming up with WP.

Honest speaking, I feel that Nokia Lumia is a very nice phone. Suitable for ICS, isn't it?
If someone managed to crack and port it to Android, I'm sure a lot of people will buy, including me.
