I knew it laugh.gif
Iv been using papago, sygic, but the most friendly & neat ui still GarminXT, maps files less 100mb, can easily send location by sms.

k , for Android SD, I recommend stock cynogen rom from "americandroid" , "boyppc rom", "darkstone superram froyo" or "jaguaralani miui". Any rom with GB is preferable, better performance & less buggy. Using sense rom has lot delay or lag when turn on & off.

some advise, get latest radio firmware by installing latest 3.14.xx official rom, and then, install your custom rom eg Dutty's rom, this would give more hardware & signal stabilty for both winmo & android. check the your radio, latest radio is (2.15) , this because Android need the latest radio (2.15)

yup, am on winmo 6.5 still because of GMXT.
dutty's rom eh, ok i'll give that a try.

any recommendations for the android rom on the external sd card ?

have you switch to other JB build ? what your JB version anyway,
so far ICS was good & quite polish than JB, JB bugs still long way to fix compare to ICS

you should try older rom for better experience & evaluations, I myself happy on MIUI 2.3, give try smile.gif

Id prefer Dutty 6.5.3 roms, rich rom & stable, I really miss the incoming call slide option, very neat imo, but then I got nothing to download from Martkeplaces other than Opnmarket. thumbup.gif

ooo.. shocking.gif
but if the native SD using the EXT4 partition, will it having conflict with Nand rom that capable reading or writing EXT)

UPDATE: Native SD will using specific folder name
ie
\EXT4\NativeSD\

the system layout :
# /NativeSD/NexusHD2/
# /system
# /data
# /PA/
# /system
# /data
# /MIUI/
# /system
# /data
# /app
# the app dir is shared for all ROMs

hence it would not conflicting with other any EXT4 files used by Nand rom

thanks Andy , nice to hear you notworthy.gif

QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Oct 2 2012, 01:24 PM)
Basically, it means partition your microSD into 2 partitions - FAT32 and EXT4.
Set both partitions to "Primary".
FAT32 will be used to store your music, photos, etc. EXT4 is for ROM (trick the phone as NAND).
...........

View this tutorial for more information.

Yeah, it's a new method because most of our old HD2 has bad sectors in NAND, so making it quite impossible to flash onto our NAND.
NATIVESD is to trick the phone that we've NAND partition on SD card, and to install on it.
Good SD cards will have higher speed of writing and reading than traditional NAND.

Nope, bro. I always prefer to stick to 1 ROM.
Multiple ROMs on 1 handset make me confused.

I hope my HD2 can still last. Tomorrow I'm trying my luck to get Galaxy Note from DiGi.
Not sure whether stock is still available or not, and whether they allow me to extend my contract or not.
Let's see how tomorrow.

Wah, jumpship to GNote, not going for Htc anymore? hmm.gif

My Galaxy Note is my primary device now.

What about you?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860

pretty snappy since Hyperdroid Ginger, just make a nandroid backup & give a try smile.gif

QUOTE(andyjyneo @ Mar 21 2013, 06:04 PM)
Haha, I signed up with DiGi and cost me only RM699.
That's because Galaxy Note 2 is coming out, so I sapu Note 1 loh.
Don't worry, GB has NATIVESD too.
In fact, I find that NATIVESD is more stable and faster than NAND if you've class 10 SD card.

When you install ROM on NAND, you'll be prone to lag and reboot randomly but when I install on NATIVESD, no problem at all. No reboot problem.
*
Aah i forgot u tell be before, I envy thos GNote has lotsa custom rom, so u stick on Samsung / cyanogen or MIUI V4 ?
Iv try nativesd on my class 4 card, its terrible yawn.gif , perhaps its the card speed,

Iv evaluate the nexushd2 jb 1.4 for few days, but I return back to nexushd2 ICS 2.9 due alot smoother, fast & better Ram management, smile.gif

Useless piece of crap Touch Piss in my Note. Don't need it.

Yes, use Class 10, but make sure it's genuine Class 10.

QUOTE(prolexus @ Apr 15 2013, 03:38 AM)
The Note 2 breezes effortlessly through android...really. No stuttering, lagginess nor fc's...in comparison with hd2 running the on android 4.1.2 ...with humongous amount of battery juice available for a whole day of hard use.

And it's pretty hard to go back to smaller 4" screens when you've fondled with 5.5 on the note 2.

I do miss the dual booting o/s on the hd2 though. Such a versatile piece of hardware unrivalled till today. I don't think there will be another phone created to equal the hd2. Still the king of smartphones when u need wp 7 and android bundled together in one piece.
*
GN2 is great devices, well a backup phone still usefull

QUOTE(lenzmark @ Apr 15 2013, 08:24 AM)
what is the most stable radio for hd2 to use in malaysia? 2.15?
*
2.15 is good enough & also recommend with Android, best rom so far is tytung nexushd2 rom
