Actually smoothness depends on rom, rom like cynogen or nexus base rom is very smooth even with low ram. Im currently on nexushd2 gingerbread v.3.1 (v2.3.6).Sense rom consume alot of memory, so you'll face woth low memory but still usable

BTW, Unused RAM is wasting

Common android issue, once 1st user setup google account, the primary account cannot be disable, he might need to factory reset on android but somehow some build cannot proceed it. For SD Build the data.img need to be deleted

Turn off your phone (normal off), turn on & watch on the screen... does it mention MAGLDR on boot start ? If u see MAGLDR 1.1x quickly press & hold the "end call" (the rightest button). MAGLDR menu appear should be appear. All u need is, into Recovery menu to clear user data & clean your dalvik cache, and reboot. This will perform a hard reset, so everyting in your nand will be deleted

Navigating MAGLDR
volume up/up - select up/down
call -enter selection
end call - exit selection

After playing alot with super fast Cynogen type rom, Im moving to NDT MIUI r31 by langthang, the most active MIUI and most stable.

Im gonna stick for while

Dont say liddat , WP7 was mean for simple user, still better than dumbphone like Symbian, its good alternative than preinstalled winmo in HD2

but its true Android world is alot better



in the meantime let fill our emptiness thread with some home screen

Its not necessary but if want to expand your limit internal data to your sdcard, this 'EXT partition' was mean to expanding your available internal rom. Some rom like Sense 2/3 require it. Check my previous post

Its a MIUI rom with cosmectic combo. You should try installing MIUI rom coz they got lotsa fancy theme. Search blackmarket from google, download the installer (*.apk) copy and run in your devices
