Haha, after all, bro, I'm using DiGi, so I don't stand to lose if I sign up their plan.
I don't mind being tied to 2-year plan.

I guess Note 2 is a good phone.
So any improvement over Note 1? Mind to share?
My Note 1 is still in the box. Still playing and using my HD2. Haha...

Added on October 11, 2012, 3:54 pmGuys, tytung already released CM10-based ROM in XDA.
Let's flash it now!

Hmm, normal daily usage (call, sms, WhatsApp, WeChat) can last me around 12 hours.

Wow... not bad...

I call, SMS, IM (Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Skype, Facebook Messenger), chat on Steam Mobile, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and I leave background data and the GPS / cell tower triangulation turned on all the time. About 5-6 hours under this heavy usage.

maybe you can try this setting:

SETTINGS > DEVELOPER OPTIONS > BACKGROUND PROCESS LIMIT > AT MOST 2 (or 3) PROCESSES
