ROM on nand still isnt as full-featured as SD right? Although the speed improvement is a great thing! There's still plenty of room for improvement! Long live the developers!

Then why dont you just try? It isnt the same result for everyone because there's too much possibilities around, your radio, your wmrom, your android rom, your tweaks, anything! The best is to try for yourself, no harm anyway. MDJ should be working fine like Core Droid, battery life and etc. There isnt much change in Core Droid except the icons which is more colorful, which I kinda like it once I start using.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 31 2010, 11:21 PM) I would suggest that one should try to decide which rom is best. Just go and read all user comments on all the rooms, there are pro n cons. Example on battery life different users has differing opinions on the same rom as it is fully dependent on how and what you use the phone for. Nicely said, Benny! I couldnt take my mind off of Android when I was facing issues last time, I cant even work properly! XD But that's the fun of it, testing and troubleshooting, provided you have time! There is NO shortcut to find the best rom. The rom cooks has put in lots of effort and time to develop and upgrade it progressively. Let them improve it further , test yourself and feedback. Even users here has different opinions. Read other user opinion as a reference , you might not faced the same experience Actually the flashing of new rom is so freaking easy , it is in a way quite effortless. If you like to try many rooms, use a good backup eg titanium paid version which will easily help you to restore apps and data If you are the type who wants quick fixes, sorry to say rom flashing is just not for you. The excitement and challenge in rom flashing is to test and find for oneself the best. There is always a better one coming up tomorrow |

Funny question:
My HTC Facebook birthday sync in the People are wrong by ONE MONTH! For example when its actually showing 11 November in the facebook page, it shows 11 December in the contact list! What is the problem? Anyone facing similar problem? And some, by ONE DAY.. I notice this could be a random issue.. but heck! It isnt for every contact, cant be sure how many percent, but still, its an issue right? Added on January 1, 2011, 3:50 pmFrom MDJ Nand build it says the following are not working.. Either this several things arent important to you guys who said everything is working, or that MDJ is wrong himself XD - Camcorder - GPS - USB Disk This post has been edited by jacksonywl: Jan 1 2011, 03:50 PM |

QUOTE(edan1979 @ Jan 2 2011, 09:17 AM) that is from MDJ gingerbread which is android build 2.3.1... its still under development... try MDJ froyo HD 4.6 base on desire HD froyo 2.2.1... MDJ got several released... dont be confuse... Yeah I noticed that afterthat but lazy to edit again. Thanks anyway =)i'm using gauner's1986 HD-Fi 0.3 build... stable and everything is working except got some flaw in the htc wallpaper menu... i dont used it anyway as all my wallpaper is from zedge... games working great, gps function, battery consumption is great, 2ma in standby mode... Anyone used MDJ Revolution HD before? What is the difference between Rev and his Froyo HD stock version? I am gonna try this "TMOUS CMYXGO's Desire HD (Dec 31)" later! edit: OR gauner1986's HD-FI 0.3. Not sure which to try yet, but I think they are both the same anyway. PAPAGO X5 is an alternative for GPS Android. I personally use iGO. I dont like PAPAGO's voice navigation. It sucks, although the interface is nice. Coming from Garmin background, iGO voice navigation is almost on par with Garmin level.

Added on January 4, 2011, 8:28 pm QUOTE(Boy96 @ Jan 4 2011, 07:16 PM) how u guys can even use papago on your HD2's? Mine is soo bloody lag that open lite applications like twitter also need around 10 second Mine is never "bloody lag" unless when I am downloading and installing. Other than that, gaming etc is smooth. I am still using SD build but constantly observing for a stable NAND build to jump off to, and I notice this one could be a good one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=898415This post has been edited by jacksonywl: Jan 4 2011, 08:28 PM |

Froyo Revolution is based on Desire while Revolution HD is based on DHD. For your future reference, any ROM named HD at the back should most probably be desire HD based.
NAND is cool. One thing I notice is the low battery current when on standby. Not sure it is significant or not (when on SD, it was 5-7; when on NAND, it is now 2-6, maybe 7) Another thing is, I can actually listen to my ringtones when I plugged into USB. Previously on SD, when I plugged in, it either revert to no sound or just the "quietly brilliant". |

Yes. Try the one I recommend. It has data.img support on SD card if you are using normal HTC with limited ROM space.
