QUOTE(xander @ Dec 20 2010, 12:42 PM) wtf, me too.. running on MDJ_FroYo_HD_v._4.5_MDJ_S78.0 then 4.6 out oledi huh.. I was running MDJ_FroYo_HD_v._4.5_MDJ_S78.0 and the battery drops from 100% to 80% during my 3 hours of sleep. Indicator shown 43% gone to "idle" while another 40+ gone to screen display. I think its horrible. Now I am installing v4.6 and hopefully things will be better. If not, I got this "setCPU" on standby =)anyway the battery seems quite bad wif this.. fully charged at 2.00 am.. at 9 am is oledi 69% at this time is 39 % current widget says idle mode is ard 80... is it only me or ? Added on December 20, 2010, 9:56 pmMDJ_FroYo_HD_v._4.6_MDJ_S78.0 up and running! Setting up now. Let's hope I DONT have the NEED to charge the phone tomorrow when I go to work! enCore, is the cedesmith a DHD rom, or Desire rom? Its pretty confusing when the folder name itself is desire_hd2. How's the battery and camcorder, and also the rest of usability that is supposed to work (what I mean is, what is working and what is not working)? I am searching for a DHD rom that can actually last a day when in use, because currently MDJ FroYo HD v.4.6=-[FRG83D][kernel:MDJ S8.0] couldnt even last a day when most of the time all its doing is in idle! I am even using setCPU but I still see a 50-60mA (currentwidget) everytime I unlock the phone. Its kinda disastrous. A phone is supposed to drain when in use, not drain when its idle

I faced problem using autoloader when the phone just started up. When I use autoloader without going into WinMo 1st, my android apparently froze sometimes (usually when the screen is locked, i cant unlock and have to remove-reinsert battery). Not sure how accurate is my assumption though. This situation doesnt occur when I run Android after running WinMo.
How accurate/workable is that "trick" you mention? Any reference for me to read through? I could really use a boost up battery life. Phone fully charged at 3.30am and when I reach home from work at 6PM, only 6% left. No phone call at all, less than 1 minutes of video testing, less than 20 sms, thats all. Its...... horrible. |

I was using mskip v5 when using MDJ v4.5 and I got my 1st screen of death. Not knowing what the problem is + v4.6 came out, I changed to MDJ v4.6 and currently using EBL. Both loader, when I boot during winmo startup they experience screen of death.
Anyway, I will give your "5 minutes" trick a try and see what happens. If it works, god bless. If it doesnt, hell Imma gonna change to other rom already. BTW, can you watch .avi from your Cedesmith DHD rom? I cant watch .avi in my MDJ v4.6! |

So you are saying it can be solved with rockplayer? that's a relieve. Well then that's not really an issue anymore! I am now trying your "5 minutes" trick with mskip. Hope "all's well ends well"!

Its like, I will need a couple of SOD situation before successfully loaded into Android. And, your "5 minutes" trick doesnt work T_T Its still 50-60mA! I guess it might be the WinMo rom. Any base to support my assumption?
Currently running 2.10.50 radio. Will try to update to something higher, and also might find a better WinMo rom.. Hmm... |

Really? Hmm. So what WinMo rom you are using? Share me the link
Added on December 23, 2010, 10:06 pmAnyone using ChuckyROM GTX Tabtastic? I am planning to go for this WinMo rom. Hope it runs fine with MDJ v4.6 and has low battery drain! I go for Tabtastic instead of Lite version because I still want to keep a backup OS (with usable applications) for myself, in-case one day Android fails me, I still got a WinMo to depends on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618787 This post has been edited by jacksonywl: Dec 23 2010, 10:06 PM |

Huh? I am confused.. The link you provided showed V12 dated 20/12/2010 which I think is the latest, but you were using V14 dated 16/09/2010?
And what's with the "576Ram enable" thing? I dont understand |

Mine got internally 1GB memory. Not really sure what you are talking about, but I guess you mean 448 + 576 = 1024TMOUS?
Added on December 24, 2010, 9:33 pmAnyway I am going to give this Dutty V12 a try. Maybe I will let the radio stay 1st. Hope everything goes fine T_T This post has been edited by jacksonywl: Dec 24 2010, 09:33 PM |

Just inside Android. Put the file in the same directory as the zImage etc.
Sigh. Dutty seems fine. Battery life wasnt tested yet because my friggin screen SOD again after I woke up 6 hours later! Trying to calibrate the g-sensor thing in WinMo which according to research is what cause the issue. Hope it works! *crossed-finger* |

QUOTE(enCORe @ Dec 28 2010, 08:56 AM) After using Dutty, I got SOD literally everytime I lock my MDJ v4.6. I got pissed and reformat my SD card and this time using Core Droid HD v0.4 and also upgraded my Radio to 2.15. No more SOD. I guess SOD can be solved by changing RADIO! And now I am living happily ever after with my Core Droid HD, although I am still trying to make life better by solving the videos issue, gps issues, and prolly musics issue. |

I am facing several issues with my Core Droid HD v0.4
After I install/uninstall applications, be it from apk or from market, I would have a moment of lag period, say, maybe 1 minute. Its like the CPU is doing heavy processing writing the SD card and cause the lag. Is this normal? Is it just me or its normal for everyone? Also, is there anyway I could manipulate the built in music player to not "read" the system sounds AND game folders? System sounds for example: KeypressDelete, KeypressReturn etc. Anyway to solve this without manualy adding sonds I want into a playlist? |

That means it isnt just my ROM, maybe it applies to all Android ROM running on SD..
What about the music issue? Any suggestion? BTW, I have my 1st SOD using this ROM after 5 days. Damn.. |

dude, do you have to ask that question everytime? you could just check it out at XDA and you can easily find out what rom its built on. MDJ, Core Droid HD, they are all built based on Desire HD, which means, SENSE.
Another option to stop you from repeating that question over and over again is for you to check this website: http://android.hd2roms.com/ |
