usb connection find with me, the 1.13 version has fix for USB transfer. however card reader is more advisable btw, My test cmyxlgo, rafpigna, imilka and dandiest desire z/hd build, my best finding is Desire DL 3.4 so far. (Nand build full flash in memory) |

Yup, there is a bit jerky on camcorder rec in both Nand & SD (tested both before), mostly happened with Desire HD/Z base rom, this rom is not yet fully polished, but neares perfection so far. My last rom is CMYXL.. something like that has less jerky on camcorder rec. If u seriously I recommend to give a try with WP7 rom. High bitrate rec, variable framerate up to 30fps and 1280x720 hd recording |

NAND is your internal flash memory ie 512MB storage, MAGLDR purpose like 'MSDOS' preloaded before entering Windows, execute after 'BIOS' (ie triple color bootloader) sequence which use to call any rom installed without windows mobile. ....like this 1.Bootloader 2.SPL/ HSPL 3. Rom (for windows mobile) 1.Bootloader 2.MAGLDR (aka modified HSPL) 3.Load NAND or SD build ROM like Desire HD insufficient for stock Nand storage, Desire HD mostly over 512mb unsquash. So this require space for internal cache or system files loaded from your sdcard (via ext2/3/4 partition). this is base on my assumption, others may correct this |

SD has 2 types of build,
1-SD refer to running haret in winmo environment 2-SD MAGLDR, Android was place in SDcard but running from MAGLDR, hence, booting android without winmo. have a look in 1st post & pages for a clue |

@Xander
Dandiest Desire DL 3.4 can be use for full Nand or SD (winmo or bootloader) I suggest try a full install into your Nand since this build extraordinary small (440mb) than other release, another release they mostly REQUIRE ext partition due insufficient space, coz desire hd/z base rom is very large like 500+ edited- after testing full nand on standard Hd2, lots of program cannot move 2 sd which makes system insufficient, hence ext3 is advisable With full you'll experience responsive than ext2/ext3 or SD method. Internal Nand is hundred times faster than sd card. However, you can still choose to use partition method since the installer will detect partition if available. So if you want to make full install remove the memcard for a while. Full nand installed leave 60mb internal memory, no worry you can move program to SD using Apps 2 SD. For Booting Android from SD, u must configure the path of //Android folder in Services menu, so MAGLDR will reinitialize itself from the path that youve called, Make sure the phone was HSPL, it must have 'HSPL' or 'Cotulla HSPL' mention on bootloader (tricolor) screen, if only mention 'SPL' it means not yet ready! @mikewy Rotation does slower your system if youve alot of widget onscreen, I recommened u Desire DL 3.4 full nand Nand, alot more responsive than both SD haret & SD MAGLDR (Iv test all 3 method with the same build) edan afaik , flashing DFT or CWM rom via MAGLDR theres no need task29. Edit boot_mode=2 at config.txt in Desire_DL folder, this is for SD MAGLDR config
QUOTE(xander @ Feb 23 2011, 07:16 PM) 1. Press the power button during reboot Why dont u try run the full install DFT Nand method ? just flash & relax, no haret and image data need, 2. Select "Services" from MAGLDR menu 3. Select BootSettings 4. Select AD SD Dir 5. Choose the Desire~1 6. Back to the Boot from AD SD. after that everytime my android starts. it hangs at the home screen. any idea? Edited- exr3 is advisable to extending internal memory This post has been edited by enCORe: Feb 24 2011, 08:40 PM |

If u want to use full desire hd on Nand, atm only Dandiest Desire DL 3.4 will fit into your device WITHOUT memory card. Perhaps the best way to start is trying Cotulla Stock Desire its the 1st Nand release for HD2. Once you familiar or understand with nand build (DFT install method) u can move to other build
anyway, does its work after editing boot_mode config ? QUOTE(xander @ Feb 23 2011, 11:00 PM) yeah.. the problem is.. my internet is damn slow atm.. sigh.... dling it n takes another 5 hours.. can u blif it.. finally got it figured out. have to change it to the below settings 6. if you want to use data.img and load from magldr, the config.txt should be: =============================== DL DesireZ 3.3 final =============================== boot_mode=2 data_img=1 but i still dun get all the NAND, SD, MADLGR concept at all.. -.- my android build is stored on the sd card.. so when the phone boat.. it uses MADLGR to load it from SD card.. without going into winmo.. if i wan to use NAND how things work huh? |

Im running full nand due my internal memory is 1GB (T-Mobile version), so ext2/3/4 is not needed for me. ATM only old method (haret via winmo) allow for dual boot winmo & android. Cotulla however mention he was developing winmo via sd, so nand can be use either for android or wp7, but thats still in development |

as long you memory card has ext3/4 partition, installer should automatically use it to extend internal memory the benchmark is Quadrant |

MIUI rom is fast since SD winmo Build, but they mention it has high power consume on standbye (60mah) for nand. @xander some installer (DFT) will automatically format the ext partition before use for new rom, for CWM must erase manually |

@boy
perhaps the MDJ kernel was mean for overclocking, if you still on SD build I suggest to try cedesmith or imilka build dhd for sd, nand has lower battery consume, no heat problem |

yes, cedesmith, imilka and dandiest is fastest desire hd since MDJ 4.5, the new initz files from Cedesmith bypass the old method data processing which reduce delay or lagness. its in sd build old thread |
