Jackson. Edan
his latest 2.3 built only has Clockwork upgrades (for now) ... Do u know whats the benefits of ClockWork thing over DFT (direct flashing style) QUOTE(jacksonywl @ Jan 20 2011, 10:46 PM) No problem with mine though. DHD Rafdroid. Sync perfectly! That could just be the build you were using. This post has been edited by enCORe: Jan 21 2011, 08:12 AM |

QUOTE(enCORe @ Jan 21 2011, 08:12 AM) Jackson. Edan next upgrade will be easy as peanuts... we just need to download a small parts which was updated instead of the whole rom like DFT. usually we need to download 200mb files now only around 10mb or so... and can detain data. no need to pening2 reinstall everything again...his latest 2.3 built only has Clockwork upgrades (for now) ... Do u know whats the benefits of ClockWork thing over DFT (direct flashing style) QUOTE(ongdennis @ Jan 21 2011, 08:21 AM) Need help... my advise is using card reader to move those data. I try to install android 2.3 until this morning 4am n failed then now back to 2.2 in fresh My problem was stuck at clockwork failed to load the zimage at start. The only time I able to boot the SD is after I do a low format on my SD.but after I create the new ext3 then it failed again...how? 1. then do task 29 to clear you hd2. 2. install magdlr 1.11. 3. install clockwork. 4. create ext partition using clockwork (ext3 only tho but its sufficient) 5. then install the full build using clockwork. oh... dont ever use magdlr mass storage... got some big bug that need to be fixed. so we need to wait for cotulla to fix it. |

i think so lo...because i always use that to copy the 2 files into SD root then only install clockwork. then thing screw up and not able to start clockwork.
just now lunch time, able to up the phone with 2.3 what i did was format sd card and create partition with GPARTED-LIVE, then task29->magdlr 1.12 -> copy 2 clockwork files and rafdroid 2.3 zip into SD using cardreader -> clockwork installation -> rom installation -> done. didnt know that clockwork can do partition |

QUOTE(smang @ Jan 21 2011, 04:16 PM) duh, its even in my signature..I am using 2.15. Added on January 21, 2011, 6:01 pmI still refuse to start learning clockwork, but I guess it is time.. Anyone know the benefit of NAND storage (my T-Mobile) versus ext3? I am starting to feel even my NAND storage is running low times by times liao.. you can copy the update while in the android... copy the files to the sdcard and then restart the phone to run clockwork... its seriously faster...

Way faster than you download the DFT of whole package and reformat all your phone data (except if you use backup software, which is still a hassle)
