QUOTE(jacksonywl @ Jan 16 2011, 09:06 AM) If you are a Leo512, minus off the extra space Leo1024 have and I think you still got approx 250MB. For bigger storage then use the App2SD by creating an EXT2 partition on your SD card. All pure Android build is naturally smaller than custom UI build like desire HD so it naturally consumes less space too. Its so fast I am having a dilemma to switch back to DHD. The current issue I am facing is that in Gingerbread I have yet to find a way to sync Facebook to my Google contacts, which means no photo for my contacts. Not sure whether it is due to the build I am on, or it is widely known issue for Gingerbread. Nevertheless, fast and smooth in basically anything I do! Hope that in a short time the devs will be able to fix all the currently known issues. For the facebook photo to your google contact, it is only able for HTC Sense build only Which it has the Facebook sense to sync between your google contact and facebook. So unless HTC release a new 2.3 rom, don't think it is usable >.< That's what dilemma me also... as link with Facebook to obtain the photo easier for me, haha ...

Other than the contact sync thingy, I think I can live with just Gingerbread. Haha.. Now only I realise what people meant by DHD ROM is heavy.. Once you use Gingerbread you can feel that everything about DHD is heavy. LOL. So heavy you need strength to use the phone XD
Who knows, I might just go back to DHD few days later after finish experiencing the "pure Google" experience. LOL.

ya...i check the script d... it will ignore the META-INF folder because the script from mdjs kernal 1.3 without that folder.
but since urs is working...i think that folder should be not important...hahaha...
now i dont in dilemma, dont know want to try gingerbread or not.
i also not sure want to use cwm or daf method room now...i miss the way last time in SD build, just keep the data file. very tired want to configure back the phone, esp link back all the fb contact to my contact. any fast way to do this?

Yeah. Pure Google is an experience, not a true delight though. Starting to discover more and more "not so nice" things now. 1st, the call log is damn plain as well as the contact phone book. Call log only record when is the last call but not the duration. 2nd, GPS still isnt working fine for Gingerbread mod. And etc..
Well, give it a little bit longer and I will go back to Sense..

How is the HD2's battery using NAND compared to using Windows Mobile and Android SD card method?

The battery drain is improve a lot compare to the SD build in the past. From battery widget the drain is like 4mA vs 60mA during idle

For SD, about 5-7mA with the correct WinMo ROM. With NAND, you already threw WinMo away so no such problem exist XD

QUOTE(enCORe @ Jan 18 2011, 09:22 AM) so jackson, U still stick on Gingerbread, not planning back to sense build ? Not yet. Wait till a really cool Sense build or that I find it necessary, then I will jump back. For now, I will enjoy Gingerbread till it fails me, which I think it will, at some point. For example, when I really need to use GPS frequently, I will have to forfeit Gingerbread cause of its instability. Added on January 18, 2011, 9:06 pmSad to say, but proud to announce, I am back to Desire HD, I am back to Sense! Gingerbread is cool. Gingerbread is fast, but it just couldn't beat Sense in my opinion. Too long without Sense and I just couldn't take it anymore! So, I am back! hi all, can anyone share the backup n restore method? my backup n restore is not working at all. i backup my phone using titanium backup. i run the batch "Backup all user apps + system data" and i also has appbrain install. Before the rom flash, i copy all my data from SD card to pc. After flash the rom, i copy back the data to SD card and then install titanium backup from market. After that i run the batch "Restore missing apps + all system data". the result is not what i expected, a lot of application not able to installed with no error n some with package error. All my shortcut and widgets also not being restore. now i plan to reflash back my phone because i try factory reset and it not working

nand? i'm using sd. everytime before i install anything or after i made any significant changes, i just reboot into winmo and zip my data.img, keep a few copies. if anything goes wrong, i just overwrite my data.img. 1G data.img will compress to 200M. will even work when i upgrade ROM (same ROM from same developer).
