So, I heard / read that there are 'territorial' areas at hawker centre / street food whereby you can order food from specific food from selected stalls. Is that true? Does it happen to all hawker centers?

Maxim Dim Sum makes pretty good Dim Sum, they are in Sungai Dua, Bangunan Lip Sin. If I'm not wrong they are a branch of Max Gourmet opposite Queensbay?
For Mee Goreng, I personally think that the one in Pulau Tikus market tastes better, it's in a kopitiam but I don't know the name, it's very near to the Jalan Bangkok one, just opposite it (one road away). I've heard the one near Fort Cornwallis/beside Esplanade tastes pretty damn good too but I never had the chance to try. Gurney Drive Wan Tan Mee worths mentioning too, they're special as they're spicy (麻辣/ma lat) |
