In terms of speed, yes in fact it is faster but after all once it reach > 100GB, still the same I can't download anything after that or if they throttle to 512kbps it is even slower than 1Mbps line.

Why your speed will reduce 512kbps? This package still unlimited quota what. 

Wondering how he could stand downloading 100gb/mnth using 1mbps....
Mine downloading 5gb take 4-5 days using same speed....
Maybe his pc on 24/7 n no surfing..

Until now I never off my Thomson. But during installation, Maxis contractor told me Thomson need at least 5mins to up, look like this is the known issue.

Just finished install my maxis home fiber.
Everything is done within 2hours. Btw, I stay in high rise.

Speed and ping are great, ping get around 5-30ms to Malaysia server.
Speed wise able to get 10mbps.

One question, maxis started their quota? This is wha I saw in my launchpad

Just went TM Point to potong my streamyx.. they said need 14days, will it effect the Maxis installation?

1.  Calls to maxis Mobile : 600 Minutes
2.  Additional Minutes on Maxis Mobile : 150 Mintues..

post your result here... afaik they only resolved with Singtel, so other ISP still bad (in terms of latency/ping)

i apply on 20th June at Masjid Jamil LRT those maxis guys
untill now also havent receive any call...

any idea how to check the application status?
