When are they going to implement the quota? Is the 100GB quota for download+upload combined? I'm a heavy HD movies downloader, I don't want to regret myself by upgrading to this package since I'm enjoying my current 1MB streamyx with unlimited quota (I downloaded > 100GB of movies per month)

No answer on this. It may implement next month, next year, forever no.
Nobody can answer.

You have to think the worst situation that that implement right after promotion is over.
If you can't accept 100gb quota, then better don't go for this.

What are the main issue with Maxis Home so far?

I see a lot of
1) Bad router.
2) Slow connection to overseas servers.

Besides these 2, are there any other problems?

I live in a double storey house.
Now with my Streamyx, the modem is in the living room upstairs.

Can we put the Maxis modem where ever we want to?
Or does it have to be some where particular?

1) Bad router.
Router to me no problem. I just need simple working router for torrent and surf net.
Wifi signal can cover whole house (double storey, modem in my bedroom).
The thomson router works for me.

2) Slow connection to overseas servers.
Maxis is solving the issue.
Local ping back to normal few days ago all local server ping < 30ms
SG server ping today 90ms++

Hope this answer your question.
