my place got fiber coz got UNIFI
and i heard Maxis can piggyback on the UNIFI fiber.

check Maxis website , dont have coverage but UNIFi got wor..

so can install Maxis Fiber or not?

it seem like many new subscriber will face this problem? will be install on 30 june, scared will happend to me too...

is it happen to landed or highrise type installation?

Yes local server getting 200+ ms using speedtest. When choose maxis server it get less than 20 ms

Reconfigure the router, you will be fine. Password is with additional 1 after the ID, select provider as TM, not Maxis.

If this is true then TM is really fuxked up. Trying to monopolize everything. Shouldn't say "trying" since they already did that since the start.

Can use your own router if you want to...

Anyway, offer is ending next Thursday....

Although there are quite some complains here and there, esp regarding TM installers and speed, I guess there are quite a number of people who have no issues at all with their Maxis Fibre Home too. Diff is, they choose not to post anything here and keep mum about it... o.O

it's very simple the huawei h850a is sole property of tm. NOT maxis.

I remove the Thomson Wireless Router and use my own firewall router.

now requesting for public ip instead of private ip....

I saw someone in another thread posting his speed to local server.
It was all <1mb.
That is considered very slow right?

If it's slow to local servers. then it will be slower to a foreign server right?

Is this router wifi signal strong? For a double storey house, is the signal good enough for both levels?
