Er, lets see. If you want to pull an app from page 3 to page 4 (for example)...

1. You go to page 3
2. Touch your app long enough to make them wiggle around
3. Touch and drag app-of-choice to the most right side -- it should move you to page 4
4. Place it to where ever you want it to be in page 4

yup converted to correct format using iphone ringtone convertor. Some songs were 1min+ some were 30sec length

Problem Encountered :
1. Speaker and Mic seems to be lower than usual
2. Wifi signal is really low compared to other devices in my house [and also another iPhone]
3. 3G signal seems to drop alot and always slow and cant detect
4. Google Maps showing me in a location 100m - 2000m away from me therefore i can't detect where im at or getting a good location on a GPS

Steps Taken So Far : Restarted / Rebooted / Re Factory Settings / Enalbe disable 3G

Other Information/Remarks : This has been happening for quite a while. The signal of my phone seems to be low at everything . The Wifi/3G/Edge .... The GPS/aGPS is not showing at my correct position. What can i do to fix this?

I used to love jailbreak, but then when time after time I ran into a few dissatisfactions/problems, sure I could solve it or find a workaround by looking up forum and google around (that also if can fix), but then I realized that this experience wasnt what you should get with apple products. They generally just .... work.

So for the time being I decided to just swear off jailbreaking and just use the phone as intended. No issues, smooth sailing all around, as long as you keep away your eyes from some of the temptations of jailbreaking then you'll be just fine.

35sec can or not

ah i cant find any text message centre in messages settings @@ i only have show preview, repeat elert, mms messaging and stuff.

The max seconds per ringtone is only 29.9 secs. More that 30 secs, iTunes will not allow you to use it as a ringtone. Anyhow, i'm using iToner which allows me to have 1mins per ringtone.

Nah..not worth banhammering but it kinda show wheather new iPhone owners actually read the manual and if they did, they would not ask such shocking questions..hahaha.

I can see the internet tethering at network but i could not find the option to Off And On, only spinning wheel. I cant seem to turn it off no matter how many times I tap the spinning wheel, nothing happens, I never get the option to turn it off. How do I turn it off completely. I have search but cant find the answer. Already call Maxis CS and seem that they also cant solve the problem. Any idea to solve this problem? Using Iphone 4 (IOS4.1) BUT No problem with my 3GS. Already tried to restore but still same problem.

so more than 30sec songs cannot be ringtones?

i manage to upload more than 30sec via ringtone maker software. But when itunes sync my phone all the ringtones above 30sec will disappear

i think the ios is stable
just that is had difficulty to jb the ios4.1,that's why i downgrade to ios 4.0

Hello all. I currently have an iPhone 3GS that is linked to my iTunes account (under my name and credit card info). It is synced to my desktop PC. Soon, I want to get an iPhone 4 for my wife. She's a housewife and doesn't have a credit card, so will I be able to register her iPhone 4 to my iTunes account and have it bill my credit card when she makes any app purchases?

Secondly, will we have to sync both our iPhones to only one computer (my desktop) for the above to work or can we both use different computers? She has a laptop on which she can install iTunes on.

Also, will I be able to transfer all the apps (especially the paid ones) from my 3GS to her iPhone 4? If yes, how do I do it?

Will appreciate any feedback/help..thanks in advance!

Hi , was on 4.0.2 when bought that time.. upgraded to 4.1 , i think this tips might help u little , coz i had the experience like you before 2 days ago , after i found out that quit all the multitask app on the background when u idle could help u improve the battery life longer . to quit the app simply double press the home button , then u see a list of icon at the bottom , then press 1 of the icon longer and click the "-" to quit it.. hope its help

im actually selling a used iphone to my fren tomorrow, and is there anything that i need to do besides restoring the phone as new phone ?

I notice after restoring the phone, my itunes account is still there and i had to sign out manually. I dont want any of my private info to be in the phone. And is there a way to delete all contacts simultaneously from the phone ?
