Cloud say the AP IMEI is like that
they have their coding, so called..hmmm nvm as long as it's covered
proceed to PR 1.2
just now stuck at waiting for device for like 30 minutes..haih

Added on September 1, 2010, 3:22 amjust check, mine is korean set.
made in korean.

like aspire. ;D
*
dont worry.... as long can update PR1.2 its a genuine n900...

the hell, overclock it.

AP always IMEI mismatch on the box. Its been like that since forever.

just make sure its a new set and with warranty as promised.

and the keypad, qwerty pad i mean, make sure its a slightly matte surface. because smooth surface is pre-production models.

taiwan firmware
Global firmware

So if u update the frontpage firmware
Taiwan firmware will become global firmware

etc etc..
*
can we really change to global firmware? bcoz last time i update to pr1.2 global firmware my phone got bricked. mine is using UK firmware. after flashing to UK firmware pr 1.2, then the problem solved. mind to explain that?

I not sure which firmware u download and if u downloading firmware from the frontpage make sure the file u download is complete or else u might brick your phone. I saw many did that installing firmware from different region it works for them

leaking is due to constant high temperature. Turn on your aircond more it helps

leaking due to cheap capacitors from china... you can look for the keyword 'nichicon capacitor' in google.
