the N900 is tougher than it looks

Dunno most of us use 900mhz also no problem. Thats figure its just estimation. I am using 950mhz since March 2010

i oc to 850 but didn"t notice any different.....gonna try 900 and see.

Overclocked my N900 to 950mhz and also NITDroid to 900mhz. So far so good.


You need to mount NITDroid partition to N900 so we can see the directory.

First, if you're not familiar with vi editor, you can install leafpad from Application Manager. Will need to use this to edit the power.conf file.

Then, open X-Terminal and enter the following line-by-line:



This will open power.conf in leafpad editor. Just change scaling_max_freq line to overclock:



I've changed mine to 900000.

Then save the file and enter the following at X-Terminal to unmount NITDroid partition:



Restart, bootup NITdroid and you're done.

erm.. another ques here.. when u open the default twitter app, were u able to post a tweet? i can only view the tweets, i cant post any tweets, when i click the post button, it will ask me to force close!

How the smoothness on Ntdroid? Lagging ar?

As I,Andy & Eiraku agreed on previous thread,Eiraku's damaged phone maybe not due to OC 100%.

To those are encountering problem with nitdroid,did you guys enable the extra-devels?Because most probably nitdroid repo will not be revived & everyone have to use extra deve's to download required files.
Still haven't play around NITDroid fully.Today is due date of 4 assignments & 1 lab report for me.So been busy for the past few weeks.
But tomorrow I'm going full force with NITDroid!

Am going for this phone as I feel it truly rocks.I went to Nokia as I wanted to get a ori set however they said that it's out of stock.Do any of you know where else can I get an ori set.

Also the sales person said that it comes in white or black...is it true? they told me to come back after Raya.I went to Nokia's main btw.Secondly can I access email from the web easily from this phone & dl attachments easily?
