it isn't bad, just that the market for WP7 is low because of marketplace...and it does not reached its full potential yet...wait till mango comes out, it will overtake iOS if it jailbreakable, solely because of its better UI, office work capable, mapping and social integration which are the core features of mango...theres a lot more but I think these three is enough to pawn any OS available on the market...

is ur house wifi hidden ?
if not, it might have problem with the encryption thingy .
try WPA2/WPA/ EAP or something else .

I faced the same problem before. U can either use 1 of the method below.

1. power on the modem first. Wait till all light green and connect. Then only u on your WiFi router.

2. setup ya wireless router to b/g/n. 20/40Mhz and interval to longest. This setting need technical background for network.

nope. The indicator correct. If it's not correct mean either ya battery begin to lost performance or ya phone problem.
