Yes, Malaysia is still not in the official list for supported countries yet.

I have used my Xbox live account (SG account) when I set up my HD7 and included a Malaysian credit card into it. Can I make purchases on the Marketplace using my Malaysian credit card? Anyone tried it before?

Furthermore, what is the currency for the prices on Marketplace? SGD or USD?

yes u can. but someone told me that the market place in SG is slightly more expansive than the US one.

Thanks. I believe the difference is due to the cross currency rate. So the amounts are in USD or SGD? Sorry, didn't get that part.

i can't install cab file.
can't install garmin
can't adjust volume.
can't change profile like nokia.
can't connect with my computer to save or transfer file.
do not know how to make mp3 as my ringtone.
cant update contact
facebook ,gmail ,and all my contact friendlist just go into contact in hd7 which is very annoying.
sound are very slow. does not have volume adjust.
camera stand crome paint easy peel off.
camera button is hard to take picture. have to press half focus and press full to take pic.
can't use touch screen to take a picture unlike my hd2.although picture quality is good compare to hd2.

I think it is better you sell off your HD7. WP7 is new and it takes time to mature. Just like iPhone when it first came out. Then again, iOS4 is still not quite there yet.

Better go back to WM6. I have no regrets moving from WM6 to iOS to WP7. Agreed, there are many things still not there but it is already a very stable and useable OS from Microsoft.

I have a how-to question regarding the HD7 or WP7. How do you change the calendar appointment notification tone? I went to Settings>Ringstones and Sound and cannot find how this can be changed. icon_question.gif

Ringtones, SMS, Email and Voicemail tones can be changed. Cannot find for Appointments. I hate that notification sound!

I'm interested as well. Please PM details. Is it the same size as the original battery? Hopefully not one of those which protrudes out!

Can anyone point me to a shop within Klang Valley which sells & install HD7 screen protector? I am currently using a HD2 protector which is not exactly fitting the screen. Indicative price would be appreciated. Thanks.

wanna ask.. is it worth to buy a 2nd hand set HD7 at RM1k?
*
I think so. I love this phone and it works really well. RM1k is a good price for a very good phone, IMHO.

my HD7... 6:30AM full charge... by 7:30AM indicator shows 1/2 battery remaining... but the other half can last until night...  doh.gif

weird HD7 ish weird...  tongue.gif

Sometimes the battery indicator on the HD7 is not accurate. I have experienced showing a full charge while plugged in and the moment I pull it out, the indicator shows a drop of about 10%. A simple soft reset of the phone will do the trick. Your battery should still be fine. I believe it is a minor bug on the HD7.

how bout the andida batt ?
1600mah

I ordered the Andida already. Getting it tomorrow. I believe it is the same size but higher capacity. Hopefully the 1600mah vs 1250mah will give my HD7 another 2-3 hours extra life. Currently my HD7 cannot last beyond 8-9 pm everyday without a recharge. Quite inconvenient. rolleyes.gif

It must pretty thick? I've just started using my new 1600 mah battery today. Don't feel any significant improvements, though.

For those who have updated their HD7 to Mango, do you see improvements to battery life? As for me, too hard to access now as I am spending more time on my phone since Mango and hence battery life is only about 8 hours or less. rclxub.gif

2430MAH ULTRA HIGH CAPACITY GOLD BATTERY FOR HTC HD7

Just ordered. Appears to be good value for money. I bought a 1500 mAH battery from lelong for more than RM100 and it doesn't perform any better than the original HD7 battery.

depends on location of seller. i've ordered once from HK seller. Less than a week I got the product. UK might take more than a week.
*
The seller is in UK. At of now, I don't think it has been sent out yet. No notification. This is my first purchase on eBay and therefore don't have the experience. Hopefully within 2 weeks. hmm.gif

I don't like what I read. Still waiting for the battery to arrive but now I am concerned. I suppose if the item is not what the specs specify, I can get a refund from PayPal? Anyone has done this before?

that's a lot of complaints if u ask me man .

what's the status of ur item?

Still waiting for it. My bigger concern is whether the battery is the capacity which they claimed in their website.
