Same thing happened to me also.. Maybank only gave me 75% loan. Ambank and rejected me outright. Then hong leong gave me 45k and CIMB offered me 48.5k yesterday.. So now finally my loan cleared ady for my car to come out.. U have to go bull shit with them a lot lah.. My pay very low.. An idea for you is to not wait for ur SA to get the loan for you if u need ur car out fast.. Cos now october ady.. buy car now u consider ady lose 1 year extra of depreciation.. So u just photostat multiple copies of ur payslip etc and take 1 day to go to every bank and apply at a go.. So u will receive a response from all of them after a few days and u can decide which loan to take afterwards..

SA will only apply for another bank if the 1st bank u apply rejects ur application. So its very leceh and time consuming for u.

Maybe install other fog lamps instead of using the ori proton one?? I see the gap there is big enuf to fit other fod lamps right?

What is the size of your tires? 205 or 215? When u do full turn will the tire hit the inside wall of the tire compartment or not?

PE fuel consumption is higher than competitors in its class and range. But it depends on how heavy ur foot is too.. Some people I know have complaint to me bout their cars FC very high eventhough they dont go more than 80kmh/110kmh blah blah blah.. But when u see the way they drive. When from stand still or slow speed they will accelerate harder than F1 cars till they reach like 80kmh then they become so light footed to maintain that 'slow' speed.. Furthermore they dont keep a constant acceleration on thier car but like when the speed go below 80kmh they fully press the accelerator to bring the car back up to speed and then they release the accelerator totally when it exceeds their so called 'personal speed limit'. The constant accelerate/deceleration will cause ur FC to go way higher than driving at the constant speed and taking gradual acceleration and braking earlier rather than heavy braking when ur car is near a red light etc.

Persona is the old one and PE is the new one loh.. Just facelift with some minor tweaks like dual radiator fan. Mostly cosmetic enhancement. For better FC choose persona that has IAFM, cos they reduces the torque dip at low RPM thus giving u better acceleration in city driving.

Hahaha.. yaya.. from 16bit to 32bit Siemens Closed-Loop ECU.. Which is practically useless as the PE doesnt have those ABS, EBD except H-line, traction control blah blah blah... So the extra bandwidth and processing power is left to waste...


For a budget point of view its one of the best investment u can make IMHO..

Ya my friend just change headers for his old persona.. He changed to galvanised one (tak kilat one,im not sure if thats what they call it).. Not those stainless steel ones.. He said low rpm in town driving the sound is a bit funny and quite 'kosong'.. But when reach higher rpm the sounds become quite bassy but not deep sounded like those conti sport cars..
