im considering on buying a Persona Elegance M-line or Saga Se.. can anyone tell me the fuel consumption for Persona? which is better bcoz im staying in kl n once a month, im going to N9.. do advice me.. TQ~! ^^

Persona FC will be better than SAGA. The NVH and handling pawn SAGA. But in KL traffic jam. Perpare a bit..FC not good compare to other 1.6 cars.

No replacement part for door mirror signal light cover only. You have to buy the whole signal lamp (RM 104.55) Mirror glass is
RM 31.50. Cover is RM 54.70 Whole unit RM581

Hi ppl, i just bought PE MT... here is my experience...
2nd day of using the car.. there is "tak tak" sound when i am turning on uneven roads... 2nd gear has no power AT ALL. fuel consumption is high - one tank runs me for about 300km only (i am not sure if it is because i am heavy footed)..
so i went for the 1st service.. "tak tak" sound.. they claimed to have tighten under carriage thingy.. but the sound is still there.. now worse.. turning steering time, there is "weeeee" sound at the steering part.. wondering if it is the steering rack faulty.
tried going up genting yesterday.. after going through humps at the pondok polis, i dropped to 2nd gear to go up (car was still moving).. it was so bad, it didnt manage to move! had to use 1st gear.. but i have to say... 3rd gear is wonderful... most of the time while going up.. i use 3rd gear without having any problem with the power..
well, just to share my experience.. cheers

Added on October 11, 2010, 2:12 pm1. "tak-tak" sound = "metal knocking sound", even the SC thighten the under carriage, but problem still there.
2. FC is high unless u light footed.
3. "weeee" sound is cause by power steering oil which return fast. Go to SC and add the oriffice valve.
4. Power lag when under RPM 3k. The IAFM technology doesnt help much on that. Power come after above 3k RPM.

Means there is nothing i can do with the metal knocking sound?? i am thinking of changing the cam gear or throttle controller to save on the fuel (and of coz stop pedalling hard, lol!).. but will those stuffs void the warranty?

tips : lower rpm = low feul consumption
im not saying drive very slow
just dun accelerate 2 much since driving in city such kl
just maintain ur speed and accelerate slowly till u get 80-90

u 1 day start the car ignition how many times?


I notice that if u Start ignition and do alot short trip..The fuel comsumption will suffer

just change my steel rim to sport rim but the shop don't want trade in my steel rim

any of you know where to sell the steel rim fast or i better sell to those steel shop?

by the way, if install foglamp will void warranty? my car is baseline, and can add electric door mirror in future maybe few more month later:p (Void warranty?)

This morning , when I was washing my PE I found out there's some leaks both of the back passenger door windows.
I try hosting the water at the corner side under the visor there is some water going inside the cabin but just a few long lines of water
but I din notice any of these when I drive in the rain



The RED arrow there is the place where the water I saw it coming from ..
The BLUE lines - Water lines flowing down into the window panel .

Windows double checked , was closed properly .. since both side's windows has it , i think is the rubber not perfectly fit

any has this problem ...

haha same thing happened to me..the shop wanna take only RM50 for all 4 rims and rim caps..
then i was like nvm -.-

dude, just lookin at the rims.. thts not persona's rims..but other cars that have use 5 lug nuts ..
well, it mite not be the car's fault, it looks like the bus's fault..
