I think his footballing ability got a lot to do with his hair. If it's long, he's superb. If it's botak, meh.

It didn't mean or sounded like that at all. But I hate seeing that kind of news before we play them. Might come back to hunt us.. huhu. Bebe, save us!

They can't wait to see us crash and burn, and it won't happen anytime soon.
Look at the ages of those that are under 28 or so, and you would see most of them have played a big part for the team. By the time the old guards left, they will slot in seamlessly. Talking about old guards, this might be the GK to replace VDS when the time comes.. This post has been edited by Wan: Sep 19 2010, 04:35 PM |

Leeds boss, Simon Grayson, has revealed that ahead of his team’s clash against Liverpool last season, Rafael Benitez paid him a visit, but there was only one thing he wanted to talk about.
“I think all managers have huge respect for each other but you’re not going to all get along with each other,” said Grayson. “They’ll be disagreements on the touchline. We played Liverpool last season in the Carling Cup and Rafa came to speak to me in my office for ten minutes before the game and all he wanted to talk about was Sir Alex. I just listened and disagreed and didn’t say anything. Added on September 19, 2010, 5:23 pmWhat a sad human being. No wonder his ex team is up in the shits. Obsessed. Funny they adore him so much. QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Sep 19 2010, 07:11 PM) yea referee was unsure as well, but it is technically a goal. A ball needs to stop moving or out of play area (behind the post) to be deemed not a goal (im pretty sure bout this I don't think there's a rule regarding the GKs action. Only the taker in that they can only touch it once, and that's that, while the GK can stop it at all cost as long as he doesn't step out of the line before the ball is kicked.NVM, stop worrying about this 1 in a thousand thing, im going to bar to watch the match tonigh! |

QUOTE(dlct87 @ Sep 19 2010, 07:52 PM) Either he's injured or SAF is telling him to step up his game following his bad show against Rangers. Certainly a surprise since we have only Ando and Gibson there as covers.QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Sep 19 2010, 07:57 PM) Still early for him and it could be said that he and Owen's are similar types with Macheda being something different which we could need. Owen with the experience wins. |

What was Torres doing there? Trying to do a doggie to Berbatov?
And Konchesky is the best defender who defends the post ever! |

Our whole team really need to be drilled how to defend properly. We were playing great and all of a sudden throw it away just like that! Happy that we won, but it could have easily been another game thrown away.

QUOTE(Envoy @ Sep 19 2010, 10:31 PM) our offence is strong but we still have problem with our defence cant wait to see rio back we need him It's not just the defence though. They are missing the protective Carrick ahead of them IMO. Fletcher for all his hard work ain't a shield. And Scholes while god at what he does, can't be expected to do the job. |

QUOTE(jhchong @ Sep 19 2010, 10:41 PM) in against top 10 teams or so, its better to put brown or oshea.. but this year, i expect to see lot more of rafael.. he's great at attacking, but mentally poor and rash.. so need to let him play more to adapt and learn.. Brown have played there consistently before when we won the CL with him at RB for the majority of the season. And O'Shea did a commendable job last season there, and we have Rafael coming through who need the games and is just a matter of time before keeping it as his own. Lahm wasn't needed.i always said it wouldnt hurt to get someone like Lahm last season.. at least he can play couple of good season.. but now since oshea and brown come back, then its ok la.. |
