A guy with lots of cash. He can pick and choose whatever he wants. It's his life. He can live however he sees fit. As long as the football side is not affected, all is fine.
Barney. I guess that Colleen would have known by now already, or even months before that. There were rumours flying around but didn't surface too much. And he got a court order to stop it from appearing in the papers.. for a while until last night.
anyone have the highlights of england u21 against lithuania u21?? heard welbeck scored twice.
Welbeck, Smalling, Cleverley.. Rooney still young too.

He's mainly a winger right now although he could do a job in the middle, but in Park's AM role of last season in a few of the big games. Mueller like.. Him and Gibson could save us some $$$.
Anderson already played a couple of reserve games. He should be fit, but obviously a bit off the pace. Owen already fit since start of the season right? I'm not sure about the middle though.. hope Gibson shows up and Fletcher play his normal superman game.
Just a normal challenge. Wasn't even a sliding one. They just collided while running next to each other, and once Valencia was on the ground can see his leg is wrong somewhere..
No matter who is at the helm, it will always be dangerous, especially since they are the underdogs now like for the last few years. It goes in cycles. Sometimes they are on top for a few seasons, then it's our turn.

lol... yeah, w that kinda speed, it hurts to head d ball. unless d team mates score, else they'll really get angry to him...
talkin bout crosses, no one beat Becks... those kinda crosses (far post) usually made during ck, very seldom to see 'em in open play. not pickin up on bebe, he has all d time in d whole to do a Ronaldo. glad to see he's gettin minutes on pitch, this could pave d ways for him to get into 1st team. i reckon obertan has higher chances to replace valencia on rw position, thou Park (who SAF has more faith on) mite start since Liverpool ain't push over.
Going by form, it should be Giggs and Nani on the wings. Park was horribly ineffective against Rangers. Wouldn't mind to see Fletcher and Nani as well to give that balance since SAF do like to have someone with a defensive minded on one of the wings although with Carrick out it'll be a Scholes-Fletcher combo. Fletcher doesn't look too good so far this season. Wish we have Carrick available..

i haven't comment after the Rangers game, because i have to rush outstation. But about the game, it looked like we missed Scholes superb passings. Fletcher couldn't do the job on that game in my opinion. I think we have to play short passing with Scholes absent. Fabio is not as good as his brother on the flank, in term of defending and attacking. I missed Valencia's injury, but it seems to be very serious when i watched the highlights. Lastly, i think Berbatov is a very important figure now in the United's squad. With every team having 9 players and a keeper in their own box defending, Berbatov's skills is definately needed. He can keep the ball well. Rooney could have done a better job, if he is on-form, but sadly, it doesn't look too good of a start for him. For the pool game, i think Roy Hogson is going to deploy defensive tactics. The fact that they have Joe Cole released from his red card won't change it. So, 4-4-2 i guess, because both berbatov and Rooney would equally have to play an important role.
I have to say the left side will be our biggest route to scoring a goal from the flank because Glen Johnson is easily exposed. He might be good shooting into opponent's goal, but the defend department ;p so yeah, Giggs might just piss him off and have him sent off. I never thought of the day that I would say this but, Rooney behind Berbatov. Scholes obviously for his perfect long passes. O'Shea to Neville and Rafael because of his experience, and better in defending then Neville. Ferdinand look fit, when i watched the first half, Vidic to revenge on Torres this time.
For better or worse, the days of Rooney going into berserk mode for us is long gone.. at least in the next few years. Berba will still be that man with the task to 'create' or make plays upfront.
Bebe's crosses.. looked pretty good to me. Other than those he didn't contribute at all. But it's only his first game. Will only get better from here on.

All we did was sign him and announce it to the world. That's it. It's the press who makes a hoo haa over him. Seeing we spent quite a big chunk of money on a homeless kid who was playing in the third division in Portugal before we got him, who we could have gotten for free almost just a few weeks before that, they are seeing blood. There's no better chance to tarnish our and SAF's name.
Added on September 17, 2010, 12:51 pmIf the last game is anything to go by, Gibson is on his way to becoming useful for us. His shooting aside, I thought he was pretty good with his all round game. Not Utd standard good yet, but it was a decent showing from him.

That's all he is right now. Pace and power. His pace is ridiculous over a long distance when he gets going. Apart from those(only watched the first half), he didn't do anything else. He will get better once he adapts properly. Still need a lot of work though with his movement etc. Practically still like a baby.
