then its ok, take care k when you are in philipines. maybe a lil exaggerated but close friends of mine had experience there and its realli not that safe. if you are chinese, just try not to wear too many valuables because people there think all chinese are rich.

i m getting to hanoi then travel down to saigon. january the weather will be about 17'c at hanoi so will enjoy the weather there before slowly moving down south to the centre which i read have some beach before moving more south to saigon. so far no plans yet. most prob bus or train because hope to cover the more on the ground and meet more locals. also sleeping in bus and train can save on accomodation.

hanoi's flight is expensive ... so nono for me for now Maybe next year but i plan to take my adv diving. This year, i'm fully occupied with lots of activities .. though can still come out yamcha ...

anyone wanna do yamcha at SS2 and discuss?

i will. their target is chinese, specifically who looks like he/she might fetch money, which can be a kidnapping target as well. i think it's safe to travel to manila, having said that, just practise the usual travel common sense.

I'm not sure this is a good or bad news but sorry guys, I've found a travel mate. We have decided to make it not more than two person. Anyway thanks for ur interest and yes, I'm looking forward for a minum meet up. We can plan another trip Pls take note that I've changed the thread's title. Most parts of europe will be freezing cold in February. Where are you going, what's your budget and how long? I may go as well, but I concentrate more on UK, France, the Netherlands, budget around 30-50€ per person per night, probably max 1-2 weeks.
