Most  parts of europe will be freezing cold in February. Where are you going, what's your budget and how long? I may go as well, but I concentrate more on UK, France, the Netherlands, budget around 30-50€ per person per night, probably max 1-2 weeks.

my budget around that way also.. already bought some ticket.. now waiting for bahn train ticket from amsterdam to munich.

Let's see how it goes. I'm in the Netherlands now, travelling is fun but I am trying to go to the smaller places, sometimes less travelled eg. Provins, Reims, Bruge, Delft since I've done the big cities already.

Hi all,

I was thinking of going to Sydney next year around end of August to early September. Most probably will be there for a week of time. Who is going at the same time with me? smile.gif

Hi, this is a really great journey. Actually, I'm thinking extend your trip to China even. say KL->Thailand (Bankok)-> Laos-> China, Yunnan(-->possibly Tibet--> Nepal). Why don't you share this trip on a facebook? can attract more companions.

Yo, I'm alone to make a travel plan from 24 Dec to 2 Jan. Possible routes are three
1. Nepal (hiking around Himalaya and Mt Everest, possibly cross borderline to China, depending on time)
2. South east asia region, Thailand, Cambodia, Vetnam and Laos (see how many countries can I travel across)
3. Sri Lanka
New friends are always welcome, we can talk, take photos, help with each other, share expense, exchange thoughts....etc.

Note, I'm an outdoors man, travel and backpack overseas several times alone and with friends. If you are intersted, pls drop me an email at jiayang.sg@gmail.com

I'd like to make a decision this weekend(5 Dec) so I can book the air tickets. So, friends, pls hurry up. I'm starting from Sarawak.

I assume budget for 3 routes will be similar, so just take Nepal as an example.
BTW, I'm not a luxury tourist on holiday, but surely not stingy. my main target is to enjoy the scenic view and relax my heart.
Air fare from KL to Nepal via Dhaka two ways is about RM1800
Travel in Nepal, say RM150/day/pax for 10 days will be RM1500, so total will be RM3300~3500 for 10 days including everything, that's not too bad, as we'll see Mt everest! Roof of the world.

Yeah, I know. But I just came back from Bali 2 months ago. It's really had to get a 10 days' holiday, and can't wait for watch Mt Everest which I dreamed for years.

I referred to the normal route people took before, 10~13 days trekking along the valley to enjoy the snow mountain and Mt everest.

Flight is Biman airline, cheapest so far. Nepal airline doesn't have flight on the right dates.

BTW, surabaya is too short for 10 days holiday.
