But that's the whole point though isn't it? Cosmetically, the manufacturer would want the fake to pass off as original as convincingly as possible.

If anyone spend few thousand for a fake fender i really pity him cos he didn't know it's fake stuff. But in this case, I think he knew it's fake but still wan to buy. Spend Rm750 for a fake MIA fender, it's still better than spending few thousand for a fake fender right? People just don't want to spend the few k money but want it anyway. There's even grades in fake stuff, A grade, AA grade, AAA grade... a lot of people can't tell the different of the fake stuff or original. Sucks that people fooling like that, both seller and buyers. I highly doubt fake guitars will stop producing when the demand is so great.

better for u to buy cheapo strat n put fender decals on it.. save RM300++ lah
