now my main concern is, will current symbians that has GPU(SE Vivaz, Samsung Omnia HD) be able to upgrade to Symbian^3, and when S^4 is ready, will N8 be upgradable to run S^4

QUOTE(andrekua @ Aug 25 2010, 10:58 PM) Dont update better la. well, let's be realistic here. I own LX-3 too, and the picture i took also as just somewhat, and i rely on lightroom for color adjustment and brightness on my PC Fair shots...however i think in terms of digital processing, nokia will not fail..i wouldnt say it will be darn good, but it will at least not fail us...look at phones like N85 and N97. While they might not be the best in their spec, they are one of the top quality.I think most of us dont know much about photography also. Besides, there;s more to it than just sensor size. The lense also matters too and a lot more like digital processing enhancement which is obviously lacking in N8. Not I want to pour cold water, but we kept saying N8 will destroy those digicam. However, have we ever though, a shitty camera also can take good pic in the hand of pro and vice versa. I seen Lumix LX3 awesome pictures but the pic I took with it are somewhat... you know la... so lets wait the picture do the justice than the spec. From the Flickr picture that was posted here before this, i can see that the noise control is somewhat acceptable, and the details are also properly retained. If you ask me, it is really better then those digital camera out there...but if you must compare to LX-3, i say far to go...unless it has manual control features and can shot in RAW, then it's a different story...how i wish someone make an app with such feature..lol |

QUOTE(andrekua @ Aug 26 2010, 07:52 AM) Who is comparing it to LX3? You lor... lolz...ok..my bad..i miss understood...What Im saying is a pro can use a low end camera and take good picture and a noob can use a pro camera and take shit picture with it... Im noob in photography... BTW, N85 is top quality? I bought one for my wife, I dont see the image quality being top quality. In fact, poor even amongst 5MP. and N85 is that bad? i tot it was rather good...crap...i really need to update myself a bit liao QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Aug 26 2010, 08:21 AM) we are not comparing. Both from different class. One is a semi pro class one is a smartphone class. lol..that close kah? never tried with my camera before...the smallest thing i ever tried is a laptop screw...We only compare the size of the lens why N8 is one of the best in smartphone class with the best sensor combination. Its really on your RM50 ringgit note just that its so tiny with your naked eyes u can hardly realize it Try it to believe it hehe ![]() For u guys to learn the above screen shot is a 0cm macro zoom. Smartphone class havent reach this stage yet not even one. and yeah, sadly say, it's impossible for smartphone camera to perform that way yet.. but i think it will serves as a very very good camera replacement for most people |

QUOTE(cloud8318 @ Aug 26 2010, 11:37 PM) that i know....but when its fatty, will it bend the motherboard? seem to be a problem if the battery become FAT inside the phone, how to remove it from the phone? yeah, that's one of the concern for N8...but the thing is, normally battery's gonna degrade, as long as u don expose to high heat, normally will not become fatty..as that happens, i think had to claim warranty lorQUOTE(andrekua @ Aug 26 2010, 11:39 PM) I really don't see the advantage of having a battery locked inside. Being one piece does not mean must lock battery inside. Let's ask Nokia why they choose this path over the normal route. i believe on the interview on GSM arena, nokia already mention that because they need to keep the size down, they have to lock the battery in. They say if they don do it that way the N8 is going to be fatter then it currently is |

QUOTE(cloud8318 @ Aug 26 2010, 11:46 PM) aiyoo.....i'm not talk about how dangerous the battery after it become FAT ori also will boom lar, just way way way lower chance, and they don really go fat that easily...BTW Ori won't BOOM....only china Cap-ayam brand will.... and also, whenever BOOM incident happen, they sure accuse the battery is cap ayam and cover up..that's how the market works...lol |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Aug 26 2010, 11:53 PM) actually no one can guarantee whether it will boom or not. There a reason why sometimes even nokia recall all the battery back like those replacement programme +1ori battery normally just have more QC to ensure such occasion happens in a way way way lower chance then cap ayam..but i try before my N82 ori battery become fatty in like few months...prolly cos i put it as spare, and expose to direct sunlight too much at home |

QUOTE(cloud8318 @ Aug 27 2010, 12:02 AM) all of my ori battery become fatty after few months using....one of the reason is i always repeatedly charge my battery with car charger, cos the battery running low before i reach home..... i suggest u get those ori car charger...if u using cap ayam one the voltage might not be right also...in your case, to be honest, i'd rather left it die for a short while then doing that...or maybe just bring a charger to your company to charge..that's what i do |
