Oh ya , i found some videos on the n8 video camera and its in 30 fps.
Some say its due to the latest firmware which is good but i doubt so.
And some say its recorded by a Samsung Wave.

Not sure tho. I'll post the vid 2moro. Need to sleep now.

if u buy for OS highly recommend Android phones
if u buy for camera & Video recording functionally N8 is for you
If u buy for apps/games its doesnt matter due QT all portable between all nokia OS.
If u buy to show off specification recommend Android phones

It doesnt matter whether the Symbian^3 can last how long because u are unable to port it to another phone. It still stays with N8 till the end due to the main selling point is the camera

Hope that clarify your confusion mate.

QT??

What OS Nokia left? S90 killed, S80 also killed, Maemo abandoned, which left the normal phone (S40) and S60 with multiple version. Nokia need QT? Probably just another failed investment...

Whether its past or fail or watever the market share is still nokia. Isnt that the point in business?

user posted image

In assumption is failed investment
but in business perspective its a success.(good investment)

I got a better idea since u are a nokia ranger list down all this questions and u can directly ask the general manager mr. honourable SIR. I also wanna know the answer to your question.
Can we prepare a sets of questions? and behalf of all the members here you can ask for us? nod.gif

You don't understand what is Qt yet you're commenting on it?
QT is not an OS, it's a library, where apps/games develop can be deploy everywhere (as long as it supports Qt library; something like Java).
So, imagine an app/game develop using Qt, can be install in Windows Mobile, Symbian, Maemo, MeeGo, and any OS that supports Qt library, just like Java.

Did you see Intel App Store? It's not only for MeeGo. Forget about Apple AppStore (only for iOS), Windows App Store (only for WinMo), etc.
This Intel App Store will target MULTIPLE OS. You create one app, you can sell to many different smartphone users.

It's not necessity, it's something good and should have been done. We have Java ME (Mobile Edition), but the apps and games are crap in mobile devices. Qt takes it to a totally different level. Check it out on youTube, see how fast and smooth N95 (yes, N95!!!) running Qt apps.

but even with Qt, an app or game will still require quite a lot of rescripting to customise for that specific OS...but it become easier...and not normal people like you and me can do the porting...you still need to be proficient in C++ and Qt scripts...so it will still depend on the Developer to port the app or games over to your phone smile.gif

Wait for 2011 when the result only bring out this statement. Because the result is not based on lyn members only or what your friends using only. Its based on different countries combine.

Malaysia only contribute like maybe 5% to the chart only so it wont make much different.
