hi people, i juz completed my diploma in admin at INTI Uni. I plan to study Marketing in UK but my GPA is veli low, at 2.5. which U is suitable & Will they consider me?

I thought INTI got partnership with uni of northrumbia?

i saw a lot of students from inti there. mostly business student

I thought UCSI was the one that has affiliation with Northrumbia.

umm umm yes it is but the GPA increased to 3.0 i go there and facing the same people might be xian and most of the Chinese speak mandarin

this depends on how you mingle around with the ppl. i love newcastle upon tyne especially when it comes to clubbing. sadly i didnt choose northrumbia, ended up in a small town.

I am studying there and to be fair the word "good" is very board so it will vary from person to person, and it sometimes depends on the course you choose as well. It might not be as good as other well-known unis such as Warwick, UCL, Nottingham etc in general but I personally quite like it. It is also one of the red-brick universities. Also, the living cost is not as high as other big cities while the campus is just a few minute walk to the town centre so it's very convenient to go wherever you want. You can always come back to me again if u have more questions regarding the uni or even the city itself.

I never visited there before. Probably depends on your course but it is Top 100 according to the QS ranking last year. so I assume it is quite good as well. For more information you might wanna ask some students studying there though. ^^

Hi there, I need some help on writing my personal statement. I'm hoping to apply for two different field which is Mathematics and Mech.Engineering. Is it advisable to do so, or should I just focus on one field to show my enthusiasm and interest?

I do have a list of mathematics awards. Would they be of any help if I decided to focus on engineering?


P.S. by the way, is the subject Thinking Skills important? Would it make any difference in the decisions of universities admissions?

Then talk about maths, if you have more stuff to talk about.
You can touch a bit into engineering if you're applying for the engineering course.

No I'm applying for next year entry.

Problem is, I only want to apply for Mathematics in University of Cambridge. Other university choices will all be Engineering.

I always cherish a hope to get into Oxbridge, and my best bet is to apply for Mathematics as this is where my true interest lies. I don't think I can survive an interview on Engineering for Cambridge. And hence this is where the problem arises. The personal statement is making me really confused now.

I had my degree with honour in BA and I've been thinking to further my study(probably master) next year. So i would lk to ask a few questions:

1) I will be considering taking it in the UK or M'sia..which would be better and which Uni will be recommended for both country?

2) I came across with the pre-master and top-up degree thingy,could anyone here explain more about it?

3) how much is the cost difference between taking it in the UK and M'sia?
