I can't say if London would have better or worse quality in terms of teaching. After all, if we bring Warwick into the discussion, it is 3rd in the UK in one ranking (in general, not business), and certainly it and those above it aren't in London either.
However, in terms of business, London is the financial capital (and certainly one of the world's largest financial centres, if not the greatest), and with that comes some considerable things, good or bad.
Apart from Cass and WBS, what about London Business School or the London School of Economics?
Cass claims to be in the top 3/5 for business I think, but overall (as in City) it isn't obviously.

QUOTE(limeuu @ Dec 24 2010, 11:49 AM) ..........why anyone would want to actually migrate permanently to uk, however, is another question....... lol, you cannot be serious? There are millions of reasons Malaysians opt to migrate permanently to UK, unless of course you belong to the privileged. Nuff said.

Britain defends foreign student visa clampdownhttp://www.abs-cbnnews.com/global-filipino...-visa-clampdown» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « LONDON, England - Britain's interior ministry Sunday said its plans to tighten the visa system for foreign students would not damage the country's universities. An alliance of chief executives from 16 universities has written to the interior minister, Home Secretary Theresa May, urging her to abandon plans to restrict the number of visas and impose strict English language requirements. Students represent almost two-thirds of non-European Union migrants coming to Britain. The government thinks the system is wide open to abuse, with obscure courses and colleges effectively offering a back door to settling in the country. "Any criticism can only be based on speculation as no decisions have yet been made on the changes to the student visa route," a Home Office spokeswoman said. "However, universities that are confident in the product they have to offer genuine students should have nothing to fear from policies that root out abuses in the student visa system." In a letter to The Observer newspaper, the university vice-chancellors expressed their "profound concern", arguing that the government's direction would have a devastating effect on universities' incomes and ability to run the best courses for British, as well as foreign students. "International students coming to universities contribute over £5 billion ($8 billion, 5.8 billion euros) each year to the UK economy through tuition fees and off-campus expenditure. "Reductions in student numbers will lead to reductions in income and jobs. Without international students, many university courses, particularly science and engineering courses, may no longer be viable. This will in turn reduce the courses available to UK students." Immigration is a hot topic in Britain, with an extensive recent poll finding that 63 percent of white Britons thought immigration has been bad for the country. Feeling the immigration system is largely out of control, Prime Minister David Cameron wants to cut net migration from hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands annually. Fresh Home Office research last year revealed that of 186,000 foreign students granted visas in 2004, more than one-fifth were still in Britain five years later. Officials fear many may be working illegally. The number of visas being issued to students and their dependants had risen to more than 300,000 by 2010, the figures showed.

anyways, does any one know a good translator around PJ/Damansara so i can convert my birthcert? or should I just go through my visa agent.

don't waste you money.......you do not need an agent for simple student visa.......
as for translation, you can avoid all that by having the funds required in your own account........your parents can transfer the required money (based on the figure in your cas document) temporarily to you account so you comply with the time requirements just before your application, and then transfer back again after.........

you can only apply for a student visa 3 months before you are due to start, so you cas document will only come at that time......if i take you situation correctly, you will start in september, so the earliest you can apply you visa is june......
there should not be a rush till august, when the a-level results are released, so really, it's not a problem......

Hi guys. I'm planning to study in UK for MPharm or Chemical Engineering courses. Here are some of my inquiry. 1) Am I too late to apply UCAS by now? 2) Normally how much time do I have to wait to know the outcome of my application? 3) Do you think I should find an agency to arrange or apply my study application? Is it free of charge or I need to pay for it? 4) Which agency do you think it's good? MABECS, GEN, STUDYLINK? Please enlighten my doubt and thanks a million. Do you have a list of universities that you would like to apply to? If you do, you can always email them telling them about your case to see what are their advices. As for agency, some universities have their own agencies so you might want to consider those agents? hope that helps

Can you please elaborate more on 'their advices'? You meant whether I am qualified for their entry requirement? How many seats left for that particular course? Thanks for your reply.
