Guys I need your advice, I applied a UK tier 4 visa without having to show the financial evidence..
Will I need to show evidence of monies when I'm at customs or asked to do so?
*
Did you maintain the required fund for 28 days before this, even if you didn't submit the evidence for visa application?
If you do I suggest you ask your bank to prepare you a letter, at least there's something to back you up IF they asked for it.
But do note that out of 4 or 5 times I entered UK in 2011-2012, never once they ask me to show financial proof.

They can still ask question on other things though, like where you're staying, how long you plan to stay, what course you're taking etc.
Probably not really wanted to check if you're eligible to enter UK, since you have the approved visa anyway. I think they just want to see how you handled the questions, I assume one who plans to do illegal stuffs like overstaying or faked their documents would start to be nervous if being asked too many questions.

Er, yeah, that means VFS has received your documents from the British Embassy.
You should received an email from VFS Global as well regarding this.

For my case, I even received an email from British Embassy in Manila informing me that they already made a decision for my application and the documents has been sent back to respective visa application centre.
Then few days later email and SMS from VFS Global came in.

Since you got the SMS already, I think it should be fine.
Remember to bring along the receipt they gave you during the document submission.

you can only use it for one year. that's the duration jpj will issue. then, you can just re-apply again after one year. (it should not happen but i did it and it worked)

SPM certs maybe can be used for new course application those kind of stuffs, I don't think PMR cert is useful over there.

Anyway, I suggest you at least bring the education certificates that you used for applying the course. I'm not sure if it's necessary, I'm bringing it just in case.

I don't know where to post this question but I guess here should be fine.

I am interested in getting my PhD in UK (in Business, since I already have my MBA locally), but I do not know how to proceed with this.

Scholarship application are valid online but where do I get contacts for the lecturers in the business school I want to enroll in?

Help for those who already have experience or know anything about this.

Thanks.

I think scissors is prohibited, especially those sharp headed ones.
It's pretty much the same thing when you flying to everywhere else. Liquid, sharp objects, compressed cans, spare lithium-ion battery. I don't have a list, you should check with the airline you're flying with, they usually provide a list for it.
Anything that is doubtful, just put in check-in luggage, don't hand carry.

You might also wanna know what items are prohibited from bringing into the UK, you can refer to the link below:

check them in.....but if you are overweight, leave them...britain is a pretty civilised country, they do have staplers and scissors, and they will be cheaper than airlines overweight charges.....

Look up the business school's website and get the contact details from there.

Seven Seas is my go-to shipping company for something quick and economical. Having said that, unless you have a really powerful / expensive computer that you need for your studies, often you're better off with buying a laptop here and getting a monitor / keyboard + mouse in the UK.

If you're doing engineering, often you'll have find having a notebook to be convenient for group discussions etc.

Hi there, do you mind to tell me how long it takes to process your visa (are you taking the standard type or the fast track) ? I heard is around 15days and not include working days right ? Quite nervous because I booked my flight exactly the 15 working days...
