No no I'm not on scholarship. I went to VFS and submitted everything.
*
if you're not on scholarship, tier 4 general student is the correct category you should apply for.
anyway for the scholarship, what they meant was scholarship that is NOT what you think like. their scholarship is like "sponsored by the queen" or something like. special scholarship issued by the people in the UK, NOT your local company. so you should be in the correct category.

hey just to ask if your guys bank statement has bank letterhead? I was told by the officer at lvl 4 that my bank statement from Alliance Bank (which is printed in a A4 paper and certified by the bank) is wrong/not entertained by the officers in BHC. He told me the bank statement MUST has the bank letterhead. And i replied, "but it's certified true copy by the manager of the bank" , he then said, anyone can certify this. :/ And i went to the nearby Alliance Bank and asked, they said they never issue bank statement with bank letterhead and said it's always printed in A4 paper and certified even for the visa application.

You must thank the VFS guy for saving you RM1055 Visa fee. Go back to Alliance bank and insist you want letter head statement. Why so difficult for the bank to print the statement on letter head instead of blank A4 paper ? Isn't it just a selection of paper from the paper tray ? If Alliance bank rejected your request, just ask them to show you the black and white policy preventing them from printing statement in letter head. If they can't show you then they have no reason to refused you.

BTW, those who submitted on 30th August can collect the VISA today and be warned that the collection queue is damn long sweat.gif sweat.gif

1) Anything to wear.
2) Give your IC to the guard at ground floor. Then proceed to 4th floor. If documents complete, then proceed to 19th floor.
3) Check the vfs website.
4) It's not as pack as it used to, cause most universities should be starting now or a week later. So actually there isn't the crowd I experienced. But to be on the safe side, just arrive there early.
