Google STA travel Malaysia, the company is just opposite of Berjaya Times Square and ask for their price first. You can book first without paying , to hedge up the price as prices rise up tremendously when approaching the departure date.

I personally do not recommend MSL , please have a look at my first post. Its in the spoiler, click it.

STA Travel doesn't need booking fee. smile.gif

Btw, why do people like direct flight more than transit? I can't handle a direct flight. Might puke. lol

No worries bro, that's the good side of using agency. But do remember they will give you a deadline, you can ask for extension but in this peak period I don't think they will still be so lenient on it already.

Ask me, I've been stopping in Dubai for like the 8 time now. The list of things to do is to

1) buy ciggy for friends(they pack in few carton 1 box) so you can bypass the British 1 carton per pax rule. ps: i bought 13 cartons in the last visit. Customs officer came and talk to me thats all. Ask me why so many ciggy I said bought for friends and self consumption no biggy.

2) Hog a place at Burger King, order a burger and sit there surf wifi tell parents you're safe in Dubai. Surf for 1 hour also so..then pack your crap, and move on.

3) If you still got time, check out duty free shop on watches or branded apparels. Some items are cheap on discount.

I'm taking Emirates everytime. I need that extra luggage space lol.

Dubai adaptors you need to find those LG advertisement stand where they offer the sockets haha. Emirates if you declare as student will get 40kg. You'll be taking 2~2AM plane from Malaysia if you're taking Emirates. Reach there approximately 7 o'clock Dubai time. Then 10 o'clock like that from Dubai reach UK around..evening.

I have a serious question here.

Do we have to do medical checkup before boarding? I thought Malaysia is still consider as a safe country by the Britain. Therefore no need to do medical checkup , ie Chest X-ray etc.

Please anyone can clarify for me.

Depends on your university clinic. When I report in the uni health centre, they ask me whether I did a medical checkup, I did a X-ray test and full blood test. I just gave them and they accepted it.

AFAIK, UK custom will randomly pull some (not all) incoming passenger for medical check up. If you aren't being pull, then obviously you do not need the X Ray film. But if you are being pulled, you want to join the long queue to have it done? You got the time & patience? If no, then get your X Ray done in Malaysia.

I suggest getting a Multi-adapter here in Malaysia. You can always use it when you go to Europe or other places for travel sooner or later and find it useful. Don't cost much.

They say a standard of 6-8 working days, but since now it's the peak season, I think it might take a longer duration.

I have trouble with the Section 5:Immigration History.

"Please give the approximate date and duration and purpose of your stay/s"
What do I have to provide? Country, date, reason?
I've got not enough place to write all, what to do? icon_question.gif
