whats the recommended temp for q9450 ? I had mine idle at 50c and full load on 65c at 3.2ghz. Vcore 1.20. Using real temp for monitoring it. I think it can go lower cos my casing still havent fully arrange the cabling n the airflow kinda sux.

after darn linksys modem , model : AG421 failed me , because auto PPPoE connection problem

and play around with my ram .. sorry here is my sucky result during my boring time...

Mine can do 1070 CL4@2.3xvdimm but then mine is D9GKX Xtreem 1066mhz while yours is TKH ex Xtreem 800mhz
Beware of that kind of vdimm on gigabyte board as the drive strength is very agressive

i rahter use speedfan or using my mobo temp display...
using coretemp and realtemp, my temp fly up to 68c...
but if using speedfan or d display, it actually around 49-51c...
an i OCed my proc as my siggy...

q6600 hot lar...heat cannot compare wif e8400...unless u hav superb cooling system lar

E0 overclock better as it runs cooler.
It doesnt matter for me as I dont overclock like crazy...

Any E8xxx should be able to reach 3.8GHz easily without changing Vcore. Mine does 3.8GHz with a flip of the FSB to 400. Just change the stock heatsink to those old type P4 cooler and full load at 79C.

i heard E0 is good for overclocking ability but in game performance, the C0 owning E0..

Wow, 2.7V rili crazy.... Haha, gud result anyway... but dun 4-4-4-4 oways on 2.7v, it may reduce the efficiency of ur ram using default voltage... may b ur default now is 2.1V, so nex default value will change to 2.3-2.4V... B careful... LoL ^^

nope.. i never OC.. running on stock hsf.. Prime fail like hell.. the moment it start it freezes... sighs..

Why add voltage to stock clock speed? Isn't it something to worry about if it isn't stable at all with stock settings?
