sorry i no have any eaget X5 here. u can go to setup/ system info, similar like this.

Eaget X5 got limitation with the chipset, it canot perform as well as realtek chipset like 1055 which almost same price. cannot play BD-ISO as well.

so nothing can improve with the firmware.

Ok, I was just hoping that the latest firmware can fix the issue with subtitles (only 1 line of subs are shown, the other one gets lost).

Do i need to install anything??

Eaget X5 will got one firmware avaialble during march. i will update at first post later.

it is "播放器信息" not 网络共享视频. make sure u click on the correct one.
or flash the latest firmware for M7 in first post.

last time, i also get the same result as u'rs. what i do is i reflash again with the latest firmware based on the instruction give.


1) turn off the player. switch off at the back of the player. then plug u'r usb drive (with firmware inside)
2) hold the power button (without power on back switch, hold it. do not release)
3) switch on the power switch at the back of the player (ur other hand still push the front power button)
4)hold about 5 - 10 second.
5)then release the power button.
6)then u can see that the player will automatically upgrade the firmware. wait until successful.
7)player will change to Chinese language. change back to English.
8)then try again go to ims. walla

if the IMS shows "cannot connect to server" when i click "on program" then it is not 播放器信息 setting. it is IMS streaming page. i will try to edit the words to all english so easier us to recognize and see.

it need take time. we have no knowledge with it. need wait Eaget to tweak one by one. CHina not able to play PPS

I heard Eaget will stop produce after first batch. because feedback not good in china market.
then we no hope for Eaget remote control for M5 also lor.
for Realtek 1055 can take Datage R1055, we will carry more entry model for Datage brand.

btw, yangxi R1055 with the following firmware,
- V4 SDK Firmware. World support TRUEHD, DTSMA , APE , BD.iso

want to know does Datage R1055 having the same firmware as well?

do u have EAGET H5 which is used sigma chipset

Datage R1055 same as Yangxi using SDK4 UI. not firmware. dont confuse SDK4 with Firmware.


H5 very less demand. not decide to order at the moment. the price will be RM450-500.
I heard it has low demand in China market. worry later no in production soon.
