2day just recieve M9, zhen wei few i have few Q need your help.
1. you send me M9 is latest version firmware?
2. i'm using 2.5" internal hdd, BT & Samba is on.\\IP address\ show my harddisk folder, access denied when i change access right. how to change folder access right? coz i can't put new file into EAGET.
3. i put chinese subtitle .srt, when output to Tv, font size very big. how to change font size?

all M9 we sold are load with latest firmware. except the first customer who collect the M9 from my office on the day the shipment reach
do u format the hdd using eaget ?
can try use subtitle button "字幕“ to adjust i think.

Just bought this m7 from digital mall. Tested a few movies and it look awesome!

For the subtitle yeah you can adjust the fonts probably -18 is a better option.

Still waiting for pps to work thou.

for online streaming via wireless, is it must to upgrade to wireless N , 300mbs?

Yes bro that is me. still waiting your firmware to update to my m9.

For streaming, you must use wireless N. If you use lower speed than that,
it's a hit and miss. Sometimes it works ok, sometimes it stutters, some
file will play fine, some other file will stutter..

However, if you're talking about streaming from the internet, wireless B is more
than enough for you.

M9 not yet can support PPS. PPS firmware only for Malaysia, but look like they no tweak well for M7 yet.
M9 available at Digitalmall. First floor right side LC Marketing.

u can download the firmware i put at first post, u are the first one who bought at my ofice and i told u i not yet flash firmware for ur player

I have a suggestion why dont the lastest product of Eaget use the UI same as Dune, Western HD player, or some creative UI look eye-catching. Especially, most of the HD fans like Dune UI.

satisfied with m9. already upgrade firmware(saturday morning) on m9 using this file NEW ! if it supports, does it also play with the style/font settings that come with the .ass file? or just able to read the text lines from the file then adjustable with this media player?

i got many video files are h264 mkv, integrated .ass file, can play it well?

youtube available in M7, but look like canot play. i will ask them double check the IMS after CNY holidays.


Supported Subtitle Formats: sub, smi, ssa, ass, srt, idx + sub, PGS
can adjust the font, size and subtitle type at "字幕“ subtitle button at remote control.

1) Does the M9 Product Manual come with English version?
2) How to record the TV program? connect TV AV out to M9 AV IN?

1. M9 package manual in chinese. next shipment (after CNY) will in english. because this model just launched this month.
refer to first post for the M9 english manual, so u can read first before buy.
2. connect your astro, dvd player RCA cable to Eaget M9, then ur Eaget M9 connect to TV using RCA cable or HDMI then in Eaget UI can do schedule recording. manual will teach you.

hi i am owning a eaget m850..any idea how to play DTS? issit using the coaxial plug or just normal white red cable?

Hei zhen wei the remote range reception is pretty poor. Any idea to get the remote range better? Only2-3m range nia

ya, font size can change to smaller size using “字幕” button. after format my hdd at setup section, no more access right prob.

i have tried avatar extended verison, 22GB, eaget m9 can play avatar smoothly without lag. but i found m9 have 2 problem:

1. HDMI port.
2. remote control not sensitive. u must point to device, range also not so far.
