there was something wrong with my laptop.. everything just went changed to old windows theme. the processor was undetectable, as well as wifi card or lan card. even sound card was not connected. also the graphics. forcing me to format yet again. i dunno what happened

hi,
i terdelete and formatted my recovery partition..so cant i used recovery menu later on? Shud i use recovery DVD to repair it?or reformat everything and create new partition and lastly installed OS?

Mine is A42DR and come with ori Win7 Home Premium 64bit. The only dvd they gv me is the driver cd only but my sis laptop K40IE has recovery DVD for 32bit n 64bit OS plus the driver.

no.. i believe it is be the driver problem. i revert back to the old nvidia driver.

I believe this is hardware problem. You already formatted it twice, right? I recommend send it or call Asus support.
