Added on October 19, 2010, 12:17 ami installed Nvidia's new driver but after restarting, the whole system slows down when first boot up. now im unable to open nVidia control panel or even left click on the desktop. =.=

I use preset 108, windowed, V-Sync Off, Car Detail low, Shadow Detail medium, Track Detail medium, Motion Blur low & Texture Resolution low. FPS around 25-28. After OC, FPS slightly increased to 30-32. I found my GC run stable when OC it with Core Clock 550MHz, Shader Clock 1320MHz & Memory Clock 900MHz.
I think somehow Nvidia driver was crashed when you OC your GC. This may explain why your games "jump out". That is why you got low FPS after OC. I did try OC mine to maximum (drag the slider to maximum on MSI Afterburner), Nvidia driver crashed & GPU was throttled (Core Clock down to maximum only 405MHz). Rebooting notebook will reset it back to normal. The maximum we can set for Core & Memory clock are varied between notebooks. Thermal paste on yours might have run thin.

everything is fine now.. i just uninstalled the driver and reinstalled. now it doesnt jump to the windows when i play games.. i think it was some virus that caused that coz my laptop was being infected by a trojan horse before i OC my GC.. so i assumed it was the oc that caused that problem. but Shift did crash after OC.

i think so.. it is a pirated copy... now i dunno whether to OC or not scared

im currently satisfied with my gt335m driver..so is the new 260.89 ver really improve a lot and is it stable??

i think it is almost the same as the old one..

mine too.. and i feel that the startup time is quite slow.. especially when it is loading all my widgets and stuffs

The new driver (260.89) solve my lagging problem in DOTA but still got issues with certain game like modern warfare 2....

Total black screen when starting up the game?
