QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Sep 30 2010, 05:35 PM) I guess I am not going to potong my pipe d Haha, Spayz, you and Calvin pawn me topspeed liao can go teh peng together...now wait for zelk to tune his bike, pawn me, then I need to scratch head tune my bike... haha The Anchor hi-temp spray I bought at hardware shop next to Thye Huat in town, near Komtar. About RM15. But, my experience with it, not good especially near manifold area. Even the cheap one I buy in Thailand also same problem. Read the links below, other folks have same problem. It's not just about the temperature of the paint can tahan (600C), but also the property of paint material. If you can find ACE hardware, and get either one of this would be nice. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Reference: http://malaysianbikers.com.my/forum/index....&topic=51635.60 http://myenthusiasts.org/fz150i/index.php?topic=7519.0 |

QUOTE(8zelk8 @ Sep 30 2010, 07:04 PM) cuts urs ah tht need set to my 1st setting only can pawn u la alex. now i'hv set it to low liao. I think you should find out the jet size that were used on your bike, write them all down if you have to.TZM very low mileage dunno true or not To be honest, I haven't quite figured out the correct jet size for my bikes too. I'm measuring mine, using pilot jet 17.5 previously and now 15. The 15 is a bit lean from 1/8 throttle that's for sure. I also experiment top end, using 195 and now 190 mainjet. This one yet to see how. Also just changed my sprocket between 49, 44 and now 47. I think 47 suits me better among the 3. Added on September 30, 2010, 8:30 pmThe TZM just nearby, can go see see if interested... This post has been edited by alexei: Sep 30 2010, 08:30 PM |

@Aaron, you can almost live on the bike liao...
Stock meter reliable. Not sure about the reliability of KOSO, it seems got rooms for improvement. Feature wise, it is unbeatable. If speedo works, then the mileage should work also, right? So, agak 140km go petrol station loh. Added on October 1, 2010, 8:51 amActually since many of you are using car EO (RP), would you consider using Shell Fully Synthetic? This one normally RM200+ but at Tesco only RM130+, import from UK. 4 liter per bottle, so can use for 4 times, about RM35 each time... This one is 5W-40 grade, sure very light one... QUOTE(anep @ Oct 3 2010, 02:09 PM) haha, not really...Motul is considered overpriced and overrated around here. Most of us try to use Royal Purple if got stock. Now with Amsoil, it's even better... QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Oct 3 2010, 02:33 PM) UGPM why would they spend more on redline? More reputable than Amsoil is it?amsoil got for bike. Market price about RM60+. NBH there got, but no one wana buy, bcoz ppl rather spend 70 bucks for redline... I'm a geek, and I've read about all the charts that's produced by Amsoil showing how great they perform against other brands. I'm now using VSX & Motul on my bikes, going for gear check next round. |

I just painted mine y'day with my friends too, preparing for next week's ride to KL... didn't take photo.Weather was bad, so my friend one become blister when he started the bike. Mine so far ok. Checked the TZM head and piston, no carbon. Damn sweet. QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Oct 3 2010, 04:09 PM) haha, I am switching to Amsoil from EO, gearbox oil, engine treatment oil and etc. It costs me a lot more, but the mileage is 2x more, not to mention amsoil superb performance against other brand (almost top in everything, haha) Nice to have this in Malaysia. Thx for the PM.come, show us some photos ! Guys, Amsoil spec is really good in some tests outperform Motul 300V. Too bad no comparison with Shell in it, but I think it's good enough. Take note this is not AMOIL. |

I bought it because the other side of the grip has waffle prints, so that my last two fingers can grip the throttle better. QUOTE(bizzy123 @ Oct 4 2010, 10:04 PM) I hate that kind of grip like the original LC's grip... If u got money go buy badminton racket grip to balut sure nice one LC's grip got the waffle thing?! Damn good lah...The waffle grip is usually for motorcross or supermoto bikes. I manage to google more about this grip, see below. I think it's up to the user. I'm just getting started with it so no comment. These grips are sold at very expensive price in other countries. Also got another grip, Protaper, which was transparent and feels very tacky. Price tag was RM28, but I think can reduce one... My friend used it on his bike. Only problem was it gets yellowish after long time use, and hardens... I thought about putting racket grips. When consider sweaty palms, rainy days and weathering of the rubber and it will become powdery in no time. Let us know lah once you give that a try... I ask coz i'm going to get my bike soon.. can't wait.. Custom brake caliper cover to prevent theft. Carburator housing, if using aftermarket carb. Additional CDI housing to prevent CDI hilang. My neighbor park his LC with his helmet on the bike everytime, no lock whatever for long time also no problem. Maybe the helmet will scare off thieves because thinking parking sementara only... QUOTE(anep @ Oct 5 2010, 11:18 AM) i just need to change the grip onli, suggest me good brand la.. dont want to wear gloves, kinda leceh. plus i just ride to work only. if travel far then i'll use gloves if not my hands b get sunburn Generally most aftermarket grips are good.- AXO ok, a bit thin, but grips palm well. 1+ yr using and still going strong. Doesn't peel or harden. I like it. RM10. - RevRider - heard before, seen before, never tried yet. - Givi ok, but never tried. I don't like this brand becoz most of its stuff is overprice, so I think the grip also overpriced. - Domino - branded import. I'm using the semi waffle, which is for motorcross/supermoto. There's one type Domino 3 for motorcross. - Protaper - branded import. 2 types. Tacky grip transparent for racing/road bikes. Got foam grip with micro pillows for motorcross, quite comfortable. - Other brands: Bride, Bungbon, Playlife etc etc... - Givi, Domino and Protaper I see at Tokico only... didn't do much survey. There must be a lot more brands out there... Here's what to avoid: - Old stock. Rubber outer layer already become powder and degraded. - Workmanship: Use airgun to remove old grips. Do not let them cut as it may damage the plastic twist grip on the right handlebar. Test the length of the grip to your original first, before they cut any holes on the side to fit the balancer. Do not swap left right, but pomen should know this already since left right size are different. Twist throttle should be smooth, and it return to zero position smoothly too.
