No worries mate. Even though IF something happens to your disc brake, your bike will still move until you reach your destination. smile.gif

I just add rear brake disk for my LC135 last week but the disk getting hot even just ride for 1km.... is it ok if the disk getting hot? I need to go back to muar tomorrow just little bit worried
*
Hot to the touch is normal, but if the disc starts to change color, like becomes dark or black then something is wrong.
When brake disc is hot, is the brake still makan, or begins to feel like stepping on sponge?

Then, it's fine. If you want to confirm one more thing, double stand the bike and roll the rear wheel. If it spins freely, or just slightly makan by the brake, then it's all GOOD.

Firstly. Do break in.. After break in process, change EO after break in process. Should be around 50-100km. Keep break in few times. Until 500km.. Then ride slow not more than 80km/h until reach 1k mileage. Then ur free to go. Oil filter every 2 EO change once. Ratio is 2EO : 1OF. Link about break in. Now i cant give u..i using mobile now.

Did you receive your service manual together with the bike?
Follow the recommended instructions there.

This forum talked about running in a new LC couple times liao, essentially like this:
- Use stock EO & OF and ride bike for 200km below 80kmh and don't go too high RPM, below 6k agak.
- Don't maintain same speed for too long. Open and close throttle once a while.
- Change EO & OF. Recommended here is semi-syn 15W-40. Brands include Royal Purple, Rock Oil etc.
- I do not own LC, but the guys here are pretty helpful... esp with the mods.

Clutch LC has more problem if the rider always 'jerk' the bike... like do high throttle then release clutch. The clutch housing cannot take it.
